We stayed at apartment 8 in the older wing of this small and friendly complex for a week with our dog. On arrival there was no need to check in per se but just park up and enter the apartment. The apartment comprised a lounge/kitchen, separate bedroom and separate bathroom. The lounge was comfortable enough with a table and chairs to one side, a leather sofa and a reasonably sized flat screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen had standard hob, oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. Everything was fine, functional and clean but a bit dated and the kitchen in particular could probably benefit from a refit and new flooring. Similarly the bathroom had standard fittings and an electric shower all of which was clean (with the exception of the light fitting that needed the dead flies/bugs cleared out of it) but could probably do with replacing/updating. The hot water is still provided from a storage cylinder and it might be better to replace this with a combi boiler for convenience and efficiency but truth be told we had only one instance without hot water because I'd forgot to turn on the water heater. The bedroom was fine and the bed comfortable enough. The view of the beach/bay from thew front was great if only obscured by a tree. As a tree lover I'm loathed to suggest taking that one down, and it shouldn't be taken as a recommendation, but in all fairness and objectively it would improve view massively. Generally facilities were good with an on site laundry and guest lobby where you could borrow all sorts including books and DVDs. As above the apartment was perfectly functional but could do with a bit of an update. The bathroom floor did get quite wet and it'd have benefited from a mop in the apartment to clear this up. The apartment did get quite humid and this didn't seem unnoticed given the presence of a dehumidifier in the room, though the weather that week was definitely humid/muggy. There's a small play area for kids and a nice BBQ area overlooking the bay/beach. A private path leads down to the beach and in terms of location you couldn't do better. The limited interaction we did have with the owners was friendly and efficient and they did provide us with what we needed when we asked for it. Overall these apartments are a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again. Though there is a slight lack in variety of places to eat/drink in Seaton itself there are options not far away and the location, quiet as it is, is great for us. The most important consideration for us (or one of them) is how dog friendly the apartments are and Seaton is. If you do not like dogs I do not recommend you stay here because you will not be able to avoid them. For us this is a main appeal and I hope it continues.

Seaton is a hidden gem in Cornwall…and Mount Brioni - what a ex wonderful little place. The apartment was fabulous with the most picturesque sea view; truly stunning. It is percect for a couple or a small family as it has a lovely double bedroom, a large lounge area with double sofa bed facility along with a fully equipped open plan kitchen dining area and modern shower room. Towels and linen are all provided plus the kitchen has all the useful essentials. However, the ‘icing on the cake’ for this particular apartment is its gorgeous patio area that over looks the beach with uninterrupted views. The welcome to the apartment was fabulous, we were giving lots of detail on the area itself and the lobby was full of brouchures along with lots of useful items like buckets, spades and body boards for children to use during the stay - which is ideal for travelling with lighter luggage. The location itself is beautiful…there is a lovely restaurant called the beach house, Seaton Beach Cafe and the Smugglers Inn on your doorstep; then with Downderry just minutes away with the Blue Playe restaurant, the Summink Different Cafe, the Inn on the Shore which has great views of the beach from the restaurant along with a local convenience shop there are some nice places to eat, drink and soak in the views. There are many other lovely little places only a short car journey away…such as the Tredinnick farm shop which does a lovely cooked breakfast as well as all your grocery items, the Copley Arms who offer a nice Sunday roast, the Coddy Shack offering great fish n chips which is perfectly positioned on route to/and from Loose - which is a must visit - such a beautiful little harbour and fabulous for crabbing. After what has been a very difficult couple of years globally, this break could not have come quickly enough of been enjoyed more…highly recommended.

Apartment 13! Wow, what a break in a very comfortable apartment with the most breathtaking views. The apartment has two bedrooms and the biggest balcony over looking the sea. On arrival check in was super efficient and the apartment was spotlessly clean. It has everything you could need for a short break. The beach is a short walk away and it has its own private steps. We found it easy access and that was with two small children. Lots to do locally such as a monkey sanctuary, maize maze and the beautiful Looe of course. You will need to use your car to get about. I would definitely recommend for a beachside apartment that isn’t overrun with tourists. A slice of Cornish heaven.

We stayed in apartment 4, the spare bedroom had a strong smell of damp fortunately we did not need to use this room and the door remained shut for our stay. The rest of the apartment had a simular smell but to a lesser degree, the cleaning of the apartment before our arrival was poor. The furniture is uncomfortable and old the apartment is tied and in need of updating. A note to anyone thinking of visiting Mount Brioni it is hilly and full of steps, the views from Mount Brioni are stunning.

We booked Mount Brioni because our trip to Italy was not possible. This turned out to be as near to being in a hotel room in Italy as possible. Gorgeous sea view balcony, a real sun trap, lovely spotlessly clean apartment, helpful staff. We were lucky with the weather, and really enjoyed our stay. It's a great place for anyone with a dog. Everywhere is dog-friendly and the beach at Seaton is perfect for exercising your four-legged friend.
