We have been coming to St George's for a number of years and were slightly apprehensive when booking again as the hotel has been taken over, but we're not disappointed at all. Ulrica and Brad have done an excellent job. The decor looks great and the breakfast is still yummy and still serving hog's pudding - try it! We felt... More

We stayed just one night on 7th August and it was lovely. Very well decorated rooms, nice lounge and a bar and big well kept gardens. The dining room is so sunny for breakfast. It is very peaceful there as it is just outside the busy town of Perranporth. In the evening we drove into the town and easily found... More

The following morning we had... More

Stayed here the night with my wife on our tour of the South West. Run by a lovely, friendly couple, we were met at the reception by the lady and given some great local tips. It is a beautiful old country house with a wide garden and some wonderful views. Our room was clean, large and airy and although the... More

We travelled down from Glasgow for our first trip to Cornwall and stayed at St George's for four nights. It was one of the most comfortable places we have stayed in. The hotel is beautifully decorated in shabby chic style and is absolutely spotless throughout. We stayed in Room 1 which was relatively small but suited us fine. The room... More

Great Hotel with lovely hosts. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a supersize bed. Tasty breakfast cooked by Brad and the homemade bread was a nice touch made by Ulrika. Reasonable priced bar. We dined in on one evening, we had salmon on a lovely creamy mash and side salad which was all delicious and Tiramisu which was... More

Had a very nice couple of nights here while touring round Cornwall. Rooms are very comfortable (although the ensuite is a tad snug) Nice breakfast in a sunny extension at the rear of the building. two minus points 1) the hotel is situated a mile up a very steep road, which has no pavement for half the length of it.... We received a friendly reception on arrival and were provided with a wonderful room with a spa bath. Everywhere in the hotel was clean. The breakfast was excellent, using all local ingredients and home made freshly baked bread. We were visiting friends in the area and one evening we invited them round for dinner with us at the hotel. We... More
