Found this place to be dog friendly so that always makes the difference to us as it is not always warm enough to sit outside! Enjoyed a good meal here one evening of our stay just a short distance from where we were staying and luckily managed to share a table with a dutch couple as it was very busy.... More

Gorgeous garden with limited views out to sea. This is perfect for families with children of any age as there is plenty of space so that you won't bother other customers! The pub serves a range of Cornish ales and lagers on tap, although it is a bit dingy inside. Come for the garden, a lovely place to spend a... More

Friendly welcome, with comfortable rooms on offer (located behind the pub with sea views). The accommodation is in a great location for walkers as a stop on the South West Coast Path. The pub provides good eating options in the evening, while breakfast is plentiful, including both cooked and continental options. You can purchase food for lunch for the next... More

Huge room, depressing decor, patio in back, whch was a nice feature, an dnot something you would expect in a pub-hotel of this kind. Sheets rough and bed not so comfy. It served the purpose for an overnight stay and would be a good place to stay with chidren.

Stayed here on the 24th June with my partner and Missy the dog as we were walking the South West Coastal path from Falmouth to St.Ives. The staff and locals were really friendly. The food was really good too. A big selection of curries were on offer on the menu (along with other dishes). The beef rendang was AAMMAAZZIINNGG !!!!!!!!... More

We went here for an evening meal on a Friday night as we were staying a few yards away. Excellent food which was very reasonably priced and friendly service with a smile. A great British country pub. Really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend a visit.

We stayed in a building behind the pub. It was fairly modern and spacious, except for the dark bathroom. The bed was odd, you could feel the springs. But after hiking for miles that day, it was fine. It was quiet though I could see how it could get loud if the campground behind it filled up. Breakfast was in... More

We visited one weekday evening for supper. Friendly crowd at the bar and an interesting menu featuring homemade curries made with fresh spices. The food was very good and the beer was excellent but the place is just lacking in atmosphere. It would be a great venue for a lads night out but not the best place for a romantic... More

We like our curry and we like our beer, so this place is a mecca. Goat curry special was fantastic, huge range on the menu for a pub and all made on the premises. Nice atmosphere with the locals all sat round the bar. We will definitely be back.
