We came here last year following a recommendation on the curries. We were not disappointed then so returned this year and, yet again, were not disappointed! The beef and chicken curries were delicious as was the ENORMOUS steak and mushroom pie. All washed down with great local ale and cider. Yum!

Great big room, clean with lots of space and a great view of the sea. Good en-suite with a bath. Lovely home-cooked curry and a pint in the evening and a great breakfast rounded off what was an excellent stay.

We were recommended The North Inn by a National Trust chap at the mine (not the Poldark one!) a couple of miles away when we said we needed a camp site for the night. So, for £10 we parked the camper behind the pub in a perfectly adequate camp site and went to the pub. The menu was pure heaven,...

I called in last minute for a room and they had one - needless to say, the room was clean and of a good size. It makes one feel comfortable the second you walk in. The pub itself has an awesome atmosphere, the owner is friendly and inviting as are all the staff. I would highly recommend this pub to...

We stayed in Pendeen on holiday and came here for drinks twice and also a mid-week meal of home-made pies. It's dog friendly, and the staff do pay friendly attention to dogs, which made us feel welcome. This is clearly a traditional local pub with many regulars, but tourists are looked after and the staff are lovely. Our meals were...

Accommodation was in a separate chalet at the rear of the pub and so was relatively quiet and quite comfortable. It did have a bath and that's a bonus when you've been walking all day. But I always think it's a little stingy when there aren't even any biscuits offered with the tea bags when you're paying £80 a night....

Lovely little country pub in Poldark country. We had a large family dinner there. Tables cannot be booked so if you have a large party get there early to take possession of one of the large tables. Menu was a selection of standard English pub grub with a reasonable selection of curries thrown in. After ordering a chicken tikka Marsala...

Stopped here for a drink before our Sunday lunch. Had a very well kept pint of Tribute and the dog was welcome in the bar. Even though I didn't eat here the Sunday roast looked very good and judging by the empty plates it must have tasted good too!

Found this place to be dog friendly so that always makes the difference to us as it is not always warm enough to sit outside! Enjoyed a good meal here one evening of our stay just a short distance from where we were staying and luckily managed to share a table with a dutch couple as it was very busy....

Gorgeous garden with limited views out to sea. This is perfect for families with children of any age as there is plenty of space so that you won't bother other customers! The pub serves a range of Cornish ales and lagers on tap, although it is a bit dingy inside. Come for the garden, a lovely place to spend a...
