We stayed one night as we were walking the Coast Path. Our room was delightful and the bed was very comfortable. The English breakfast was delightful and the host very friendly. We were made very welcome from the start. I can highly recommend this hidden little gem in the Cornish countryside.

Stayed here for one night on walk along the coastal path. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and we loved it. The bed was really comfortable and the rooms spotless. We had the room with the toilet across the hall which was no different to home. Breakfast was delicious. A lovely B&B. Highly recommended.

St Johns House is an ideal stopover for walking on the South West Coast Path. Moira, the owner, is welcoming, friendly, and a fountain of knowledge about the local area. The comfortable rooms share a bathroom which is spotlessly clean, and there's even a bath (a big bonus when walking!). Highly recommended.

A warm welcome - and a pot of tea and biscuits - from Moira after the long (and wet!) walk from St Ives along the Coastal Path. She's well used to walkers and has good local knowledge. This pleasant stay met all our needs, including a substantial breakfast for a good start the following day.

After a hard days walk from St Ives I arrived to a warm welcome from Moira who swiftly provided a most delicious & reviving afternoon tea. St Johns House is located right in the heart of the village & easy to find. The accommodation is excellent and my single room was delightfully furnished. The bathroom is shared & well appointed.... Stayed on second night walking the Coastal Path. Nice welcome and pleasant room with a shower and sink in. The toilet was across the landing which was no problem. Breakfast good and set us up for walking.

My pal and i stayed one night in a twin room with bathroom opposite. We were late after walking a coastal path section and Moira kindly picked us up so we could get a meal at the North Inn before they finished serving Lovely breakfast, very comfortable room albeit not large, ideal situation for pub, shop and access to coastal... Stayed for one night while walking the Coast Path. Shared bathroom wasn't a problem though we're not sure if anyone else was using it. Room OK but shabby chic decor won't be to everyone's taste. Breakfast OK with a choice of cooked stuff. Friendly welcome even though we arrived later than planned and helped with finding somewhere open for dinner.
