Very disappointed with our stay at Trenython. Lodges are very basic, and feel very close together. Leisure facilities are poor -very small swimming pool and sauna, steam room out of order, changing facilities very cramped. Little visitor information about the local area and staff not very clued up. Having stayed at Hustyns for the past 10 years at least it... More

I stayed here last year for my birthday and returned again this year to enjoy more of the same. I liked the room we had this year better,207 on the second floor; with a balconey and sea views. This is a lovely Hotel and was busier this year than last which made for a more enjoyable atmosphere. All the staff we... More

Stayed two nights free, B&B basis, but had to attend a 3 hour timeshare (they didn't call it that!) presentation. The hotel is excellent with a luxurious feel, nice location and the views are superb. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good - choice and quality. Had dinner there one night and the food was good without being... More

We heard about a great deal on the Spa and lunch, we went during July 2015, I was recovering from a hernia and a spa sounded lush. We got there very quiet, it was perfect, had over a hour in the spa then had a lunch after which was again lovely!! Hope its on this year too!!

We stayed 2 nights as part of a deal for attending a timeshare presentation. The hotel staff were welcoming, helpful & a pleasure to deal with - Salem (or Saleem?) in particular was just wonderful - highly professional and with a charming manner. The pool was REALLY warm, the sauna and jacuzzi good, the steam room was out of order... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I was so pleased to see you enjoyed your stay with us and it will be my pleasure to pass on your kind comments to our staff. We had an invite from the holiday company who now own the property which involved attending a presentation. Everything was as described prior to visit and room exceeded expectations. The setting and views are wonderful as were all the staff we came into contact with. We stayed in the main house but there are also a number of lodges throughout... More

Stayed in one of the lodges, which don't look much from the outside, but are great inside. Good spec and all very good facilities. Cooking facilities not fantastic and lack of WiFi did not please the teenage kids! Food in the restaurant okay without being great, but the food in the bar, was very poor to say the least. Otherwise... More

I was pleased to see that you enjoyed the lodge and facilities during your stay. We receive much positive feedback about our freshly prepared food so I was sorry to see that you were disappointed by the bar food and I have passed on your comments to our kitchen team. Trenython Manor is a great hotel set in large wooded grounds with views across Carlyon Bay, St.Austell Cornwall. Many of the bedrooms have views across this bay. The restaurant offers good meals. This hotel is ideally situated for The Eden Project,The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fowey, Mevagissey and the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer.
