My first visit to Cornwall, just for 5 days using public transport only. The hotel itself is superb, rooms large, clean. Breakfast excellent and food in restaurant and bar to a high standard, very generous servings and reasonably priced. This means if you have had a busy day touring you can relax over a drink and meal at night without... More

Booked to stay here with my lady wife on a rare night away from the kids to visit the Eden project and enjoy a gig as part of the Eden sessions. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, a good sized, well appointed room and a great price to boot. Is only a 5 minute (£5) taxi ride to Eden so a... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, The Royal Inn is in the perfect location for visiting local attractions. The rooms are large and quiet if you are in the extension at the back, but the rooms above the bar could be a problem when they have a live band. The restaurant had a large choice on the menu, serving chips... More

Stayed here over night to visit the Eden project the next day. Lovely place room was nice and big however a little hot. Bed was very comfortable and lots of amenities in the room. Next day breakfast was not included in our booking so had to pay £18 for 2, I'm from the north so to me it was very... More

On a cycling tour with a friend and this is our first night stop. Really friendly service, clean rooms and scrumptious food. What more is needed? They were very helpful in offering a safe place to lock the bikes. Normal tea and coffee fare in the bedroom. Dinner was amazing! A real surprise for "pub food". Make this a must-stop if... More

What a great find The Royal was . Close to the station , giving easy access to all the area's attractions . But it's the Royal itself that is the real star , very reasonable prices , with a warm and friendly relaxed atmosphere in the excellent restaurant and bar , with friendly , helpful staff . The rooms are... More
