Very much enjoyed our stay, friendly greeting from hosts as we arrived. Well equipped and comfortable room with fantastic views over the village. The breakfasts were very good with a lot of choice. Lots to see in the local area and both pubs in the village were nice.

Great place - excellent location - good sized clean and well-appointed room (No3) - plenty of communal and dining space. Car park a bit 'tight' to access but street parking immediately adjacent. Angela & Graham, have owned Elmswood for 10 years +, which suggests that they have a sound business model. Guest focussed, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Highly recommended.

Graham and Angela run a professional guesthouse. It has a bit of an old fashioned and traditional English feel but everything is well kept. Angela welcomed us with some drinks and gave us information on the region. She listened to our plans and gave some additional tips which we could make use of. Graham was there to serve breakfast which...

Thank you for your review. Your comment regarding the bed just goes to show how difficult it is to please everybody! We have actually had several customers contacting us after their stay with us asking what brand the bed is as they found it so comfortable that they wanted to buy the same mattress for themselves! We have never had...

Par is a welcoming area, Tywardreath a delightful village, & Elmswood House simply the most charming place to stay! After a peaceful night's sleep & high quality, fresh breakfast (plenty of choice), we found it easy to travel to most parts of Cornwall, giving us just the break we were looking for. Elmswood itself is a good place to relax,...

Elmswood House is run by perfectionists. We were greeted at the door on arrival, shown to our room and then tea and biscuits in the lounge. Our room was excellent and absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Definitely recommend staying here.

Booked for a 3 night stop and were very pleased with the accommodation. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the area. Lovely room, bedding top quality, good breakfast. Great location for walking along the south west coastal path, visiting the Eden Project, Looe and Mevagissy. They recommended the local pub, the New Inn,...

We stayed here for 4 nights in August in this excellent accommodation. We booked Elmswood House after viewing the Web site and seeing some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. It was well worth the £80 a night for two people and the breakfast supplied had plenty of choice and Graham is great at looking after his guests. We received...
