Mullion Cove is just about our favourite location in Cornwall so the hotel perched on the cliffs overlooking the unspoilt harbour ought to be our favourite too but, sadly, it didn't quite have the wow factor that would have made it so. In a way, it's hard to put your finger on the precise reasons why not but if you... More

Our sizeable room at the front of the hotel, looking out over the Atlantic, had a slightly old fashioned appeal. There was nothing chintzy about it and nothing fancy just a nice pleasant place to be. A comfortable king sized bed was matched by a big sofa and a couple of armchairs to sit in and admire the view. The... More

Positives: *Fantastic location. *Beautiful views. *Very friendly and helpful reception staff and manager. *The European waiting and bar staff were very professional and efficient (unlike some of the English staff). *Very tastefully decorated. *Large spacious communal sitting rooms. *Comfortable furniture/beds. *Good food in the Bistro bar. Its good that they have two different restaurants so that you can eat in... More

A great hotel in a stunning location. There were three of us plus one dog and we had a super lunch in our own private doggie room overlooking the cliffs and sea, it was fabulous!!! We didn't want to leave. The staff were all super friendly and everywhere was very clean and tidy. We will definately return, would love to... More

Great Hotel. Have been before, but as this year was our Golden Wedding Anniversary, decided to treat ourselves. Not disappointed. Food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. The location is incredible, and the only disappointment was that this time, the basking sharks decided not to show. Last time we had 4 out in the bay... More

Nothing can prepare you for the stunning location of this hotel (even though we arrived when it was shrouded in mist). Our room was on the second floor, we were extremely lucky to have a balcony and the room itself was beautiful with amazing sea views. I’ve never stopped at hotel anywhere in the world with such a large bathroom... More

This hotel is simply perfect, it cannot be faulted even of you spent the next few months trying! The perfection starts at the arrival, and the location, closely followed by the view. This is then continued with reception, what a team lead by an excellent manager. Nothing but nothing is too much trouble, we even had an upgrade thrown in,... More

Where do you start with this place - I guess if you put it in a field in the middle of Northamptonshire then it would still be good because the staff are excellent - I mean properly good. Checking in we were received warmly and shown to our room with the most stunning views over the cove and beyond. The... More

One night was not enough, the location of this hotel has a lot to offer if you are into coastal walks and beautiful countryside with fantastic sea vistas. Chill and relax. Literally on the south west costal path you have a choice to go east or west.
