The hotel facilities are great, the food was excellent, the rooms are lovely, but it's not a hotel to go if you don't have children. The lack of a bar for adults without kids was disappointing. Lovely views

Thank you for your review and really pleased you enjoyed our food and the hotel facilities. The hotel does gear itself towards the family market which is made very clear on our website and marketing material, however we do have very many guests stay who do not come with children, and indeed everyone is welcome. We have taken conscious decision...

This was my third visit within a 12 month period. The hotel itself is fantastic with breath taking views. Rooms are always clean. Staff never fail to provide great customer service. Toby the wine expert is very helpful. Food is great however the portions could be a little bigger. (I might just be greedy)

This was a special birthday overnight break with two children with Mum & Nana. We had two connecting twin bed rooms one with superb sea view - it would have been worth it for the sea view only. Bedrooms lovely, great beds & linen, large & airy and spacious bathroom. We swam, played in the games rooms and watched Star...

We arrived here having just left Fowey Hall which is also in this chain of hotels. The service at Fowey was outstanding and when we extended our holiday by booking this hotel, through reception at Fowey, they assured us that the baby listening service would be the same and our room would be fully equipped for our baby as it...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Polurrian and I am very sorry that it did not meet with your expectations. We have a different baby monitoring system to the other hotels in the group currently but hope to change this later in the year when we replace our telephone system. I do hope you come...

Stayed here for 3 days recently in a sea view room. The location is fantastic sat high up overlooking the sea. Staff are great and friendly, food was excellent and service is always efficient. My only criticism is the uncomfortable seating in the lounge, far too low and deep so very difficult to get comfy.

We recently stayed for two nights here, and it certainly lives up to its 'luxury family hotel' billing. We were given a warm welcome upon our arrival and the staff were both friendly and helpful during our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely sea view from the window. There were two restaurants; one...

We came here child free, for a very rare night away. We have been before, but not for some years. The staff are great, really interesting and very polite, particularly our waitress Nora. We had a room overlooking the sea, and were well impressed with the extensions in the lounge area. The room was clean tidy and nicely presented. My...

Thank you for your lovely review, and welcome back! The extension you are referring to is our vista lounge which gives guests the most breath-taking views over the ocean and enjoy a drink or meal. It is a really impressive addition to the hotel. Thank you for the feedback re drink prices which is something we will look at. We...

Stayed at the Polurrian for 3 nights over the New Year period. The hotel is in a fantastic location with great views over the sea from the lounge. There is an on-site crèche and our two children (aged 5 and 2) had a great time. The restaurant is very good, with the breakfasts and high tea a particular highlight. The...
