We spent two weeks at the National Trust's Teneriffe Farm in one of the four pods. Great experience. Warm and cosy and so quiet. Came with comfy futon matresses and a carpet floor. Two electric sockets and lighting. Heating provided but not needed to be used. Comes with your own picnic table and a verandah. We had no issues with...

Deciding to spend a week's annual leave in August touring the Cornish coast, we wanted a campsite in close proximity to The Lizard, Mullion, Kynance Cove etc. but didn't want to spend a fortune. As members, the fact that this site was owned by the National Trust caught our eye, and as the price was reasonable we booked two nights....

Booked with trepidation as we were concerned that a popular site in Cornwall would be overrun with feral kids as we were booking the summer hols period. No fear on that score thankfully. The site insists on all tents are pitched around the perimeter of the large field and a minimum of 6m between tents on very generous pitches. I...

I will start off by saying that his campsite is a great location and the staff were great. The field was plenty big enough and there wasn't many of us there (about 5 tents in all) there was also another overflow field. The Eco pods looked good although I didn't stay in one, and they appeared good value for money....

This review is specific to the wooden Pods that have recently been erected on the site. Please do yourself a favour and be very careful if you are to book one of these! There are four Pods in a sort of circle about 20 yards from each other and all sort of looking straight into each others front doors. There...

Am I missing something, the most unfriendly manager ever! At arrival we were directed to our pitch, and that's were the conversation ended, no "did you have a good journey down" nothing.... No information about the site, showers, bins, local walks, places of interest, etc etc..... THE BLOKE is just rude. Dog friendly, but no dog bins? Shower block was like...

We recently spent a week with a tent and had a good pitch on first main field. Sadly the weather was not with us the whole week of our stay but due its excellent location there is always something to do. Steve the Campsite manager is extremely helpful and was always able to assist with enquiries. Yes agree with previous...

Arrived and had to hunt down the reception lodge from where we was asked to park on arrival. The pitch was on grass that quickly flooded nearby after a night of rain. We watched a motorhome being towed out of the muddy track (Glastonbury flashback ). The facilities where in desperate need of modernisation and were not clean and you...

I visited mid week and in school term time, so it may be different in the middle of August, but this was a peaceful, well-maintained and organised campsite. There were a list of available pitches for me to choose from pinned to the office door. Steve is friendly (so is his dog), the layout of the site is fine and...

“Best weather seems to be during the shoulder months, always lots of pitches available apparently in May and September which seems to be lovely and sunny in Cornwall these days.”
