Evening meal whilst on hols with my boyfriend, really lovely meal the steak was delicious and the pub had lots of character.Polite staff and as it was November it was very quiet but it appeared there would be lots going on other times of year. Also some cosy sofas and relaxing area.

Quaint and traditional pub with a good selection of hand pulled beers. My partner had a crab salad which was very good and a well presented. I had fish and chips and they were delicious. Well worth a visit.

On a day trip to Mevagissey we chose the Ship Inn for a late (very late) lunch. So glad we did! The food was excellent and plentiful, and a very reasonable price. The rhubarb & ginger crumble with lashings of custard was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pub had a really nice feel to it. Plus,...

Popped in for a Pint today with my partner, Lisa and Smudge, our Whippet, whilst there we decided on a light bite, so Cheese & Ham butty for me with Chips ands a Tuna Sandwich for Lisa, whole atmosphere was excellent, lovely old school character surroundings, about a dozen well behaved dogs relaxing with their owners and cheerful staff. We stayed at the ship for an evening stay, and met up with friends in the bar for an evening of food and socializing. This is an old building, with bags of character. (And is definitely NOT a travelodge). The floorboards might be a bit squeaky, the windows are single glazed sash windows and the phone signal is weak, The...

I’ve been a chef for 34 years and have long gone past the stage of being critical when we go out but tonight just warranted feedback. I had the fish pie…Fish what fish Id have thought...

A good old pub serving good food. It's a locals type pub with oldie worlde beams and wooden decor with a nautical theme. Located just off the harbour the exterior is inviting and you'll not be disappointed but don't expect what I would say was more than an average meal. Being in Cornwall we acquired a taste for good cider...

We just popped in for a drink and discovered the local G+T, well now we have a bottle at home! The staff were very welcoming and the ambience was lovely and cosy, next time we will have some food. I quite liked the décor with memorabilia etc around and the locals seem to frequent as well.
