Went once again to the Ship Inn and was not disappointed. Had the tuna sandwich and my husband had the fish finger sandwich the bread was delicious so fresh. Served with a lovely side salad and we shared some fries. its very quaint inside low beams and dark and cooling with fairy lights all over the ceiling. Seems very popular.... More

My husband and myself had lunch here, I had a tuna mayo sandwich which was huge, it came with a nice salad. Husband had the battered fish finger sandwich with lovely white fish. With a pint and a half plus side of chips it came to £19, but we were in Cornwall. The pub had loads of character the service... More

My friends were visiting Cornwall and we decided to have lunch at the Ship Inn. My friends went to the bar to order food I was a little behind as I went back to the table to get the table number unfortunately the more mature lady behind the bar did not realise that my friends were foreigners and did not... Lots of places in Mevagissey have lost their character, like the Sharks Fin, but this place is the same as it was 27 years ago! A traditional pub, very cozy full of character, and we decided to eat here for that reason having been to a modern place the night before (No: 5) and was disappointed. Place is great, food... More

This is a nice place to drop in any time of day. Staff are pleasant and children are made to feel welcome. Food is good too. Plenty of choice for drinks and food. Bit awkward to get a drink at times as it's narrow in places but it also gives character to the pub.

Another liquid refreshment stop...lovely little pub just off the harbour. Decor really nice and tables seemed clean. Never ate food and the only person I saw eating was the young girl behind the bar! Ordered 2 pints of lager and 2 packets of nuts which came to £10.40 which seems average for Cornwall. Nice pub...

We stopped off here for lunch and wasn't dissapointed. The pubs very cosy due to low ceilings and is full of character and was really busy for a Tuesday lunchtime, we were lucky to grab a table. I had the prawn Marie Rose sandwich and I can honestly say it was jam packed with prawns, I've never had so many... More

We enjoyed a few drinks here on a few occasions after a nice walk in the evening around the harbor. Bar staff were very friendly. Warm and cosy pub with great ale and alot of quirky character. One of the lnly establishments that sell Sailor jerrys

Visiting Mevagissey on Sunday afternoon the Ship Inn was very inviting during a rain shower. We decided to sample the 2 course Sunday lunch, opting for lunch and dessert. The lunch was delicious with lots of meat and a selection of veg and seasoned roasties.... not forgetting the Yorkshire pudding. The parsip puree was a lovely accompaniment to the cabbage,... More
