I stayed here for a few days recently with my partner and her 10 year old son. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like one of the family and nothing was too much trouble for the new owners. To say they attended to our every whim would be an under statement. Everything, right down to the...

My wife and I stayed in the cottage attached to Kilbol House. The cottage was very clean and well presented. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The living area is upstairs with a large balcony facing the beautiful countryside. This was our first visit and we would very happily visit again and again. We had a...

Despite the most unpleasant weather we were made to feel most welcome. This is a very peaceful location with nice room and shower and dog friendly too. Our hosts were helpful friendly and professional. The food is also first class presented nicely with fresh fish , steak , and if you are very lucky you may get to taste the...

Spent the weekend in Cornwall for a family wedding and could not have found a nicer place to stay. Whilst hidden away in reality far away from all the main towns. Gardens are lovely and Tony and Jenny make you feel very much home from home. This is not a city hotel but offers a much more personal experience and...

When we checked in, we asked if there would be any difficulty with my being a coeliac (we had rung ahead to advise) and were told "No. That is fine, my wife knows all about gluten free diets." So we were rather suprised at dinner that night, (having been requested to choose a main course at check in) to discover...

We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night break at this lovely hotel. The area is beautiful; rural Cornwall at it's best. A great base for exploring the beaches and local gardens. I travelled with my parents and my dog and we were made very welcome by Tony and Jenny. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and the...

Our two night stay started off with a friendly welcome from Tony and Jenny who was relaxed about our request for a later dinner than 7.30. We had a nice chat with Tony about the Navy and dinner was good. However next morning was a disaster. We were ten minutes late for the 8.30 to 9am breakfast and were greeted...

We stayed for two nights whilst walking the Cornish Coastal Path. The setting is very quiet and there is a local pub within walking distance. The room was comfortable and more than adequate. Breakfast was between 8.30 and 9.00am, but we were asked if that was early enough. The meals were definitely a highpoint of our stay. Breakfast was plentiful...
