The rooms, and especially the bathrooms - are well equipped and carefully decorated, but very small. Breakfast is great, quite a choice of cooked dishes, and really good. The street to the Hotel is extremely narrow, forget it when you have a large car.

Returned for our third visit, no more Michael and Fitz, and Norman was also missing at the time of our visit, but Fran has continued to supply both first class service but continued quality cleanliness in the rooms. Sharon and Adam are still there, and the friendly family feel continues if not improved. We had a sea view room which... More

The rooms are adequate but not large, but the food and service are excellent, although the staff is small. Breakfasts are plentiful with a very varied choice and the evening meal can really be classified as "fine dining". We hadn't originally intended going on the half-board tariff, but having experienced the rather down-market atmosphere in the nearest pub, (chips with... More

We spent 4 nights at the Tremarne and it was everything that we had hoped for. The breakfasts were well cooked and nicely presented, the service was friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and had a great view. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, just a short walk uphill from the town, hence the great... More

Stayed here for two nights for a couple of days walking and a play at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Very welcoming, lovely breakfasts and extremely helpful for anything local. Mevagissey is a short, but enjoyable walk away...uphill on the way back!!!

The only one positive of this hotel is the location….and that’s about it…. Have never left a review before but here goes.....Stayed for a few days recently in one of the standard double rooms and whilst I appreciate it was a standard room, and priced accordingly there was not much room to swing a cat in. Oh and talking about... More

Dear Martin A, I was absolutely devasted to read your review of the Tremarne Hotel, and am so upset that you apparently had such a dreadful time when you stayed with us. You seem so angry writing this TripAdvisor review, that I can't believe you checked out without making any kind of complaint or raising any of the issues that... More

Mevagissey is a beautiful spot and Tremarne Hotel sits atop a hill separating the village and Port Mellon with views to sit and dwell upon. Friendly service, comfortable super clean rooms, fantastic food and good value for money.
