This was one of the nicest and best presented places we have ever stayed. Only a short walk from Mevagissey harbour and the town centre, and MEVAGISSEY is a good base for exploring that part of Cornwall.
It was more than spick & span; and they have put a lot of planning (and effort) into how they can provide their rooms and meals to what is obviously a high standard while still taking the current pandemic panic into account. We never thought to feel unsafe. The room was lovely and the hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. It was a real treat and one we will pass on.

Izzy the landlady greeted our arrival at The Old Parsonage with such warmth and enthusiasm we both felt so welcome at this most charming of B and B's. She pays so much attention to every detail here from the beautiful linen, comfortable beds, spotless rooms, well appointed shower room to the wonderfully prepared breakfasts ranging from healthy to the traditional English.
An added big advantage is the parking space provided free of charge just behind the property.
Additionally Izzy has a wealth of knowledge of the local area and will happily plan out each day for you to fit in with your prefences and happily provide you with maps and walking guides.
We briefly met Tim, Izzy's husband, at the end of our stay who is also a very friendly type. Between them they make the perfect couple for an expertly run B and B.
Look no further, this is the B and B for you in beautiful Mevagissey.

I decided to downsize the room initially booked as my partner decided not to come,
what a pleasant little room room5 is.
Breakfast was taken in the room because of Covid restrictions but it was a delight. Served in a little wicker basket and all individually wrapped in cloth together with excellent quality very nicely done.
Very welcoming and friendly.

Hosts - Tim and Izzy, accommodation and food absolutely brilliant. From when you walk in the front door to when you have to say goodbye everything was wonderful. We really can't find any fault with this lovely B&B.
Tim, bless him booked tickets for the Eden project in advance for us, made wonderful suggestions of places to eat in the village - all of which were great. NB. Do book places to eat in advance - they are popular and like a lot of places in Cornwall don't have enough staff to cope with all of us tourists.
Our bedroom was spotless, lovely little touches that show they are thinking of how best to serve and keep their guests happy i.e. bottles of fresh water to use anytime in the dining room. Then the little birthday cake for the boss on Saturday morning!
Please, don't book anywhere else in this village, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks once again Tim and Izzy for making our stay so wonderful.

The way in which the Owners have decorated is absolutely stunning. This was backed up with really friendly hospitality. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the food was fantastic (especially the warm blueberry muffins and the herby mushrooms which came with the breakfast). The bed was huge, and the ensuite bathroom had a powerful, warm shower. The B&B is well placed near the Centre of the village

Me, my wife and our Labrador really enjoyed staying in this quaint b&b ran by wonderful, helpful, friendly host Iza and her husband Tim who although wasen’t around the whole time was also friendly and helpful. Our room (number 1) was quaint with a flat screen tv, en suite, wifi, wardrobe, hairdryer, kettle and a comfortable bed with big pillows. It’s off the beaten track about 400 yards from Mevagissey town centre so is pretty quiet. Cereals and cooked breakfasts are served and it has lots of leaflets on Cornwall and books to read.

This is our second stay at this wonderful B&B. Izzy and Tim are exceptional hosts with a wealth of knowledge of the area with many recommendations on walks, restaurants and memorable places to visit. The accommodation is first class - comfortable, clean and we felt very safe with all the hygiene measures in place. We can park up on arrival and not have to use our car for our entire stay should we chose not to. Location is perfect. A big thanks to Izzy and Tim for making my belated BIG birthday celebrations extra special with Bucks Fizz for breakfast. A lovely touch and the daily homemade muffins. Delicious. We WILL be back. X

Have just spent a week here and was our second visit. It is an amazing B and B, Tim and Izzie are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotless and measures were in place to make you feel safe due to Covid 19. The change in breakfast due to not being able to use the dining room and receiving in your bedroom if required is amazing. A basket is left outside your door at required time and the detail and presentation of the breakfast is just beautiful, so much thought has gone into delivering such quality, Izzie is to be congratulated. Thank you Izzie and Tim, hope to visit again sometime.

Came across this B&B by chance when looking for a dog friendly place to stay and we weren’t disappointed. Communication was excellent prior to arrival sending lots of information on things to do and where to eat in the local area. We were also reassured that every effort to be Covid secure was being followed. On arrival we were met by the warm, bubbly and friendly host Izzy. What a star she is with a wealth of information about everything. The B&B is stunning, decorated so prettily and felt so homely - definitely a place to relax which is what we were in need of. Breakfast - what can i say absolutely delicious with a variety of options and a fun element of being served in a picnic basket. One of our favourite breakfast was ‘One the go’. Izzy recommended a breakfast picnic on the beach and provided us with everything we needed and it was still hot when we arrived to a deserted beautiful beach to ourselves! All these little extra touches (including being served Buzz Fizz and given an Anniversary card) made our stay a perfect break away celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Thank you Izzy & Tim

Without a doubt this was the best place I have ever stayed. We got a friendly welcome from Izzy, detailed suggestions about places to visit, stayed in beautiful bedrooms with everything you needed provided. I stayed in a single room with a private bathroom which had a superb shower.
It was so quiet and I got some amazing sleep.
Breakfast was superb, prepared for us in the dining room or as an adventure breakfast ‘to go’ using all local ingredients.
It was lovely to chat to other guests in the dining room and to get suggestions about places to visit.

This place felt like a home from home and we felt lucky to have been able to stay here.

We will be most definitely be back, thank you so much.

Yes there is parking in a car park but when booking you need to ask for a space which will then be reserved for you on the day of arrival.
