Stayed for 4 nights in March, perfect location for travelling around in Cornwall. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Wonderful hosts and great wines and ales to boot. If you're looking for a friendly B & B in the area pick this one, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed here twice now. Steph and Ollie are the perfect hosts and you feel very much appreciated as a paying guest. Rooms perfectly clean and tidy, shower water pressure a little shakey but other than that the place is faultless. No evening meals but there is a nice restaurant a short walk up the road. Breakfast excellent. Very nice one...

Stayed one night. Nothing special about this b&b over a pub. Didnt sample pub so cant comment. Single room on the small side and a little dated. However clean and tidy and perfectly comfortable and adequate for a night stay. Room a little cool but it was a cold night. Ollie very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a wide choice...

Lovely hosts, and a nice place to stay. Good filling breakfast. Large carpark, welcoming bar with Pool Table and Darts and a large screen TV for the matches! Pleasant clean single room which had everything required for an overnight stay, and though a single room a larger bed than a normal single. Ensuite equipped with shower, would be a bit...

Stayed for just one night but would recommend. Very friendly, clean family run hotel. Spent the evening in the bar and was made to feel very welcome. Option for a cooked breakfast was available and we were very happy. If we are ever back in the area would definitely use again.

We stayed at the sportsman Arms for two nights and we can quite honestly say it was an absolute pleasure Steph and Ollie were fab hosts and could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was lovely as was the room. But what really shone through was their hospitality and interest in our visit. Throughly recommend it and would not...

What a fantastic stay we had. From the moment we arrived, when Ollie carried our suitcase up to our room on arrival, to the morning we left after consuming bacon rolls & coffee. We were attending a birthday party nearby and Steph offered to take our party of four too and from the party, which was much appreciated, considering we...

We were greeted by Ollie and shown to a large family room with an on suite shower room at the front of the hotel that was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and spotless. The room had a good seating area with 2 club chairs and a good size TV. No meals are available in the evening at the hotel but Ollie...

Stayed a Saturday night for a break to walk down to the coast Sunday morning with friends getting of at the Rail Station on the Sunday morning. A Very Welcoming small tidy Hotel. Rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast in the morning was faultless. Real ale was in top order (Poldark from Tintagel was great). The bar had very friendly...
