I booked a 3 night stay at Dimora in August and stayed in the front double bedroom, where over the rooftops I could see the bay of Mawgan Porth which was beautiful. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable and I slept incredibly well. Barbara and John were lovely hosts too! Very friendly and would chat at breakfast time.... More

Most recent of several stays. Feels like a true home from home. John & Barbara did everything to make us feel welcome & our stay enjoyable, as has always been the case. Location is a great base for exploring North Cornwall & standards of cleanliness & attention to detail would put many a big hotel to shame & would justify... More

Agreed with all the positive comments written before just a bit surprised that as a couple we were charged an extra £30 for 3 nights because we used the single bed in the room as well as the double! The television was so tiny and due to my husband wanting to actually see some of the olympics he had to... More

Thank you for your review. I would draw your attention to our website which clearly states our rates. Your booking was taken based on the use of the family room as a double(£80) with the provision of the single bed in case your son needed it because of his condition.(£100) Used just as a twin,as the web site states it... We have been there for two nights. There is an affectionate atmosphere, which makes you feel at home!!! It is the very best accommodation where we have ever stayed in the UK. The two hosts are extremely nice and friendly and they have offered us two delicous slices of cake and tea on arriving there. The breakfast was also very... More

Myself and my partner recently had the pleasure of staying with John and Barbara at their beautiful home in Bedruthan Steps. We were attending a wedding at The Bedruthan Steps Hotel which is literally a stones throw away. We received a very warm welcome from John and Barbara and they made us feel at home. The room was clean comfy and... More

Stayed for two nights and wish it had been longer. John & Barbara are great hosts and have a lovely home. The room (en-suite) was well appointed, immaculately presented and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location is only a short walk to Mawgan Porth, where there are shops, takeaway, restaurants, pub and of course, the beach. Definitely somewhere we'd like to... More

I stayed at this B & B in July 2016. The room was clean, well presented and had a nice feel to it. The breakfast was brilliant, with a good variety to choose from including waffles (which were the fluffiest I have ever had) and kippers! The owners are lovely and friendly. They were helpful and cheerful throughout our stay,... More

We stayed her for a week in June 2016, our second stay at this amazing place. John and Barbara are amazing hosts, very welcoming and friendly. They were able to help recommend places to visit and eat during our stay which helped ensure we visited the best places in the area. The room and en-suite we stayed in was immaculate... More

Just the best holiday ever. The B&B is amazing. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the only place that I go to where I feel completely at home and genuinely sad to leave. Barbara always makes sure the breakfast is delicious and both she and her hubby John make spectacular hosts. They are great guides as to places to go... More

A very warm welcome with a cup of tea and a large slice of cake after a 18 ml walk from Padstow. The room was large, spotlessly clean and well - equipped. Breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh fruit and a good choice of cooked dishes. We would certainly recommend this B&B but do note that, if you are... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dimora is a home. We aim to provide comfort and the sort of warmth and hospitality that is relaxed and easy going. The two bed and breakfast rooms are situated upstairs with their own staircase leading to the front door and easy access to a dining room down stairs. They were added on the the original building six years ago and are maintained in pristine condition. Although we do not have a guest lounge visitors are always very welcome to sit in the comfy chairs in the dining room and use the dining room table. Guests are welcomed with an offer of tea or coffee and home made cake. The rooms are modern and clean and the electric showers are efficient.(we have an outside shower in the garden so that wet suits can be washed and hung to dry in the garage.) Guests are welcome to use the sun loungers and seats in the garden. We enjoy many different visitors from all over the world and our menu tries to meet the culinary needs of all. It is varied and generous ... more   less
