We have just spent a week here with our toddler and baby. We all absolutely enjoyed every minute of it and definitely recommend it as the perfect family get away! It is so well thought through, everything is there. There is plenty to do on the farm and in the area. But it also gives you space to unwind. We... More

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Tredethick. Our 17 month old loved the daily animal feeding with Farmers Tim and Jenny (as did we!) and shrieked with excitement on route to feed the lambs and goats. Aside from animal feeding, Tredethick has all you could want for a fun filled holiday with a toddler. All of the... More

We had a fantastic time at Tredethick Farm, staying in the Scantlebury Cottage. The accommodation was clean and with everything anyone would need during their stay. It was great to have so many facilities right on our door step, perfect for all weathers. The location of the farm was ideal - although not close to the sea, the south coast... More

We've just come back from an idyllic week at Tredethick with our three children (8, 6 and 3 years old). We'd been previously - 4 and 5 years ago before our youngest was born and when the older ones weren't yet at school. We were in Liddicoat cottage this time, which was great - the cottages are converted so beautifully... More

Brilliant place for families, we stayed with our 2.5yr old daughter and she loved every minute of it, the facilities were great so most mornings we just stayed in so we could feed the animals (Izzy the goat is was the star of the holiday), play in the play barn and soft play or use the pool. There was loads... More

I have literally just booked again for next years family holiday which I think speaks volumes in its own right as to the attractiveness of Tredethick cottages as a family holiday destination. It may help if I break down the review across a number of themes as follows: Accommodation: From the outset first entering the drive into Tredethick cottages we... More

This was our second visit to farmer Tim and his team. As per last time we found our cottage in excellent order and the daily feeding runs were a big hit with our 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 year olds (and the 39 and 44 1/2 year olds, too). Pony rides twice a week are a nice bonus. The other... More

We stayed in Wagonhouse which was great with our 3 young children. Staff very friendly and helpful. Children loved the animal feeding and it was great seeing their confidence grow as the week went on. Brilliant facilities for children including a soft play that was a big hit as well as the outdoor play areas. The swimming pool is often... More

Over the years we've had a few (completely unconnected) friends mention fantastic holidays with pre-school age children in Cornwall. I could never remember the name but one phrase stuck 'Farmer Tim'. Now that our two terrors have hit the age of 3 and 2, I was suddenly reminded of this infamous Cornish farmer. Some hurried Googling quickly revealed the Tredethick... More

My wife and I were invited to stay with our daughter, her husband and two boys in the "Granary" a few weeks ago, they have been to Tredethick before and were so impressed that they invited us this time. We had a wonderful holiday, feeding the animal ,swimming, playing cricket on the football field and visiting local places. I believe... More
