There are only 3 rooms in this place so an early booking is essential. We stayed in room 1 whilst not ensuite it had its own private bathroom along the corridor,(dont forget to take a dressing gown) i forgot but we did not suffer any embarrasing encounters. The locals are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Our room overlooked the large carpark...

Friendly staff and clean tidy room. Food is extremely good. Word of warning though....ring before you travel, even though we had email confirmation from booking.com, the inn had no record of our booking.

Visited this pub on several ocassions and would highly recommend the Sunday lunch. The quality and quantity are excellent and all served by very welcoming staff. The atmosphere is always friendly and the locals are always entertaining.

This was our first visit to this charming Inn which oozes character from the wooden beams to the log burning fire. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a lovely meal, I had a medium rare steak which was cooked exactly right and my fiancée had lemon sole served with a very tasty pesto sauce. We both felt that...

Overpriced, poor food, found hairs in my prawn cocktail. My partner asked for tomato ketchup with his steak and chips and was told that they didn't have any but offered him the left over ketchup from a pot that looked like someone else had used it - all crusty at the edges. Chips were oily and greasy. Partner complained about...

Had a good nights sleep, great bar meal , good service and really friendly welcome. Arrived very early before 12 noon, really just to have a look around and see the evening menu. Landlady let me check in and leave my bags straight away. She even quickly and with no fuss changed my room from one with separate private bathroom...

Clean, friendly, beakfasts are very good. Good base to see attractions. You have to remember that is a pub and that Friday and Saturdays it can be lively. The locals are friendly, but don't expect an early night on these evenings.
