Lovely Pub, lovely staff, especially the bar maid. Party of ten for dinner, we were welcomed and had a great two course meal. Great spot very close to the river, staff were polite and helpful and we had a good laugh with them. Shame we live over 400 miles away, we'd be back if we could. Thanks.

Have just spent 3 days at "The Ship Inn" fantastic! Rooms were good and clean, all the staff were helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble, and the food, well in our experience was top notch! Loving those chips 😉 Will definitely be visiting again Mark & Sue

Beautiful location and pub looks great - nice and traditional but sadly the food we had wasn't very good. The chips were almost inedible - seemed to have used potatoes not suitable for chips so the bigger ones were uncooked in the middle while the smaller ones were soggy and full of fat. They did offer to do some more... More

While waiting over an hour for a meal which was very basic we witnessed an argument between the staff, shouting and using the F word, the female begging not to be hit. One family left after that which gave the resident dog chance to get up onto the table and clear the food that was left. Very hygienic!!. Rather not... More

We were enjoying the meal in the garden when from the kitchen came a terrible argument. A male and female swore at each other using the f word and the female shouted at the male not to hit her. Not ideal for a family meal. We left without puddings.

We were staying with family very near Lerryn and stopped in one evening for dinner. I must say that driving the short distance to the pub on the very narrow trails that they call roads was interesting. The food at the Ship Inn was all very good. Our party of three had an assortment of appetizers and mains finishing up... More

We stumbled across this nice little pub this week, after walking along the river (which is beautiful) popped into the pub early one lunchtime. Pub was nice and quiet but we were made very welcome by the staff. Nice pint of cider, and had a look at the menu. Good selection of food, she who must always be listed to... More

Family Sunday roast for 3 generations. Great menu, everyone was more than happy with the choices available. Fantastic, friendly service. The decor was a bit dated but didn't detract from the dining experience. Would we go back? Yes!

This is a successful village pub which is the 'hub' of the village. The pub is busy with local customers and it has a nice atmosphere. The landlord has successfully created a pub where people want to spend time. All good. However, our experience as visitors was that it was quite disorganised and chaotic on the food side. The person... More
