I'd never have found it without a recommendation: turn right after the Red River Inn into a tiny lane sign-posted Bed and Breakfast and drive up the narrow, bumpy lane until you tell yourself it can't be here, there's nothing there - then you see a sign that says: keep going, it's worth it (and it is, trust me) and... A beautiful farmhouse situated at the end of an unmade road provided a welcome sight at the end of our 6-hour drive from South West London as the pre-cursor to our walk around the North, West and South Coast of Cornwall...We were greeted with a fresh cup of tea and homemade Saffron Cake (which set the scene for the rest... I staggered through the gate in the heat of the day, after been given misdirection on how to find the mile long path that leads to the Farm. Immediately, in the gorgeous garden, Linda asked if I wanted tea and cake. It was delicious! Then the magnificent room furnished so beautifully and a bathroom fit for royalty whose stunning rug... Linda and Glyn were such fabulous hosts, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nanterrow. From the moment you arrive you're greeted with warm smiles and cups of tea, they can't do enough for you to make you feel at home in their space. The farmhouse has bags of character and you really feel like a welcome guest in their house. We... More

I had never seen such a tasteful and individual docoration. The old farmhouse is charming. Linda was a lovely host, collecting me from the pub in the village. I enjoyed that is a working farm with appy looking black angus cattle. And of course the breakfast was a very good treat.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Lynda and Glynn with tea/ juice and cake on the terrace. The farmhouse itself is characterful and has potential to be a really wonderful place. Clearly many people love staying here and return again and again... but for us there was just too much "stuff". There wasn't a clear surface in our room... More

Really quiet old farmhouse on a working beef farm. The room was equipped and the bathroom, although not en suite, was very large. What made this the best experience was the dedication of Linda who drove us everywhere - to the local pub for our evening meal and back and to the station in order to catch our train. This... More

We have been having bed and breakfast for over 50 years and have never received a welcome like we received when we arrived at the farm. We have never met such friendly people. The kettle was on and biscuits and cake where on the table which was very welcome after a very long day getting home from the Isles of... More

Linda & Glen were very nice people to sit and chat with, we really enjoyed their company. The room was huge and most probably the quietest B&B wee have ever stayed in. Comfy bed and well thought out amenities for their guests. I think this was one of the best breakfasts we have had on the SW Coast Path.
