Booked for 4 nights with secret escapes on D, BB. Check in was handled by telephone the day before arrival - pre book breakfast and dinner times; breakfast options had to be selected by 9pm the previous day. Rooms had all periferal (cushions, additional bed covers etc removed). Hand sanitiser liberally dotted over the whole building. Much work had gone into making staff and guest safe. Check out was also handled remotely (email before we left the hotel). In these strange times, I can not fault the hard work of the hotel family in operating and keeping the business going. The staff serving us were really friendly and we can honestly say we had a lovely time. It is a 'remote' location, that's why we chose it. The restaurant was full every evening (full to the new spacing and again was safe). The menu was very good, varied and quite extensive. Wine list was also varied including wine from Cornwall. 1 dish from the menu stood out - the onion bhaji/scotch egg but I can say that no dish we had disappointed us. Overall it was a fab stay and I would return.

What a lovely hotel. We could not fault anything. The room was spotlessly clean, bathrobes, fudge, toiletries, tea/coffee. The food for breakfast and evening dinner was excellent. We felt very 'covid' safe the entire time we were in the hotel. Will definitely be back. We think this is one of our favourite hotels.

We have eaten here a few times now and always had a fabulous meal. Compliments to the chef !! We would love to stay sometime but they dont allow dogs. The only one downside is the parking - there was only 1 space left when we got there at 7 pm.

My husband and I stayed at the llawnroc for three nights and have to say it was a truly amazing trip. The hotel is superb, nothing is too much trouble. I arranged for a bottle of our favourite champagne to be in the room on arrival as we were celebrating his birthday. We had an amazing Seaview with two deep window seats. (Room 10) Waking up to the view in the morning was wonderful and watching the sunset at night was even more so. Gorran haven is quite a small little village with only one pub but plenty to do nearby. The coastal walk to Mevagissey was beautiful with stunning views. The hotel is contemporary and I have to say the food served in the main restaurant is excellent. The chef is fab and the food is very reasonably priced for the standard. Would definitely recommend coming here. The only thing I would say is bring an eye mask if you can’t sleep with any lights on as the telephone in the room has quite a bright light!

Th Llanwroc is tucked away in Gorran Haven, a secluded beach is very close by as is the SW Coast Path. We stayed for three nights and were subject to Covid-19 restrictions . The room was excellent, very clean, with a large, very comfortable bed and lovely pillows the bathroom was clean with very hot water it was also very quiet. The restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced and the wine was good value. Breakfast was served in a different location to dinner and it was very good, with the hot food well cooked/presented and piping hot. The main asset of this hotel is the staff, they are all very friendly and very happy to help. Our only problem was that the ceiling in the restaurant is relatively and so the noise generated by a birthday party group on Saturday evening was quite annoying and this was the view of other guests as well. Sunday evening was much quieter. As the hotel appears to be the only place to celebrate in the village, it may be that Friday/Saturday nights are not the nights to dine in.
