Set in a quiet location off the beaten track, this hotel looks lovely from the outside! We stayed in a triple room and were a bit disappointed that the single bed was a camp bed. We also ate in the restaurant downstairs which was nice. Breakfast let this place down as service was very slow, we had no glasses for... More

We stayed here ten years ago and were impressed. This time we were blown away. Arrived on Friday night after an eight hour journey from Kent and were welcomed by the girls! Having dumped the bags in the room we headed for the bar and received a great welcome again from the girls. They worked hard all night. Having sat... More

Having just returned from five wonderful days in the area , we found the Liscawn Hotel to be a great get away place to stay. The hotel is placed close to the beautiful villages of Kingsand and Cawsand,or Plymouth. If you want a trip out the north coast is only an hour away. The staff are very helpful and nothing... More

Stayed for 2 nights and from the moment we checked in we were made to feel welcome. The owner and staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were very tidy and smart and the view from room 1 was superb. Food was excellent and very well presented. We had a meal in the hotel both nights... More

Stayed for three nights in room 10 situated in the 'renovated' barn. Spacious room but very dingy. Smells of damp when the plug in air freshener is removed. Clean bathroom but main room was not. Dirty carpet, far too many cobwebs and dust. Furnishings and furniture are very cheap. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast timings are rather unhelpful and... More

We stayed here in November for our sons passing out parade at HMS Raleigh. There was a group of 7 of us and we were made to feel really welcome. The family owned and run hotel is just marvellous. We had a great meal in the refurbished restaurant, breakfast was amazing and they even opened the bar for us when... More

We had gone to Cornwall for a ‘Passing Out Parade’ at HMS Raleigh, our daughter in law said she’d booked us all in to a B&B for a couple of days. However when we arrived at The Liscawn Hotel we were unquestionably pleasantly surprised as it wasn’t the B&B I was expecting. The Liscawn Hotel sits in picturesque surroundings which... More

We stayed here recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we arrived very late due to the bank holiday traffic so didn't get chance to sample an evening meal. Room was fantastic - spacious and clean with lovely fluffy towels. Sadly due to being parkrun fans and taking opportunity to do Mount Edgcumbe run and breakfast served at wrong times... More

We stayed four nights at the Liscawn and every day we commented on what a great place it is. It looks like there has been a fairly extensive and recent renovation of the place and it's been extremely well done. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and clean as human hands could make it. The restaurant is simply excellent, and the... More
