However - I arrived at 5.15pm after a 6 hour journey to find no one to greet me. the door was locked so i couldnt even get in.... More

Finally getting round to a review from our Cornwall trip in August 2013 with my husband and 2 young children. We initially booked a family room at Roscroggan Chapel (also owned by our host Rose), and upon arrival the place looked great. We were met by a chap who appeared to have no idea we were coming and said the... More

My wife and I stayed here in July 2013 and could not have wished for anything better, cleanliness was top class, hospitality was second to none, food was wonderful and lots of it. Rosemary was one of the most charming ladies I have ever met and certainly one of the most hard working. With regard to the dogs, daft as... More

Very pleasant stay with my family. Accommodation was warm, clean and presentable . Breakfast was a real delight, the sausages were delicious and the portions were very generous. Rosemary was very helpful as we arrived late in the evening and she kindly organised fresh milk for us with our tea and coffee. Would recommend this establishment.

We recently stayed at Collingwood and don't at all agree with the moaning reviews I've seen here. The owner, Rosemary is very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us! The whole place is spotlessly clean and without smells as reported by others!!! The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated. The food was also excellent in... More

I returned to Collingwood in October and once again had a lovely 3 day stay. Rosemary made me very welcome and couldnt do enough to make my stay a pleasure. I was totally surprised by the reviewer who said the place was dirty, its spotless! Its a B&B not a hotel and as such is good value. the food is... More

I have stayed here a couple of times now and each time we were greeted by the friendly host. The room was spacious, clean and had a real feel of luxury about it. We opted for the cooked breakfast which was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Rose, she checked we had everything we needed and gave us advice... More

writing this review months after we stayed here as I felt it was about time to. I completely agree with the last review from clairel. We stopped here in march 2013 and were booked in for 4 nights at £60 a night which myself and my wife thought was reasonable at the time and also the good reviews on here,... More

I’m very sorry some of you didn’t enjoy your stay but unfortunately we had a family bereavement who was the main house keeper and managed guest arrivals, bookings and general duties which include keeping the dogs separate to the guest area. Since then another member of my family has come to live at Collingwood and these issues are now resolved.... More
