Despite being situated in the centre of Camborne this hotel is definitely a Cornish gem. The staff are efficient and could not have been more friendly. Our room was large and clean with every modern convenience. Free WiFi was always available with fast Internet access at all times. A large car park at the rear was free and never full.... More

We needed a dog friendly decent place to stay overnight before catching the ferry to St Mary's one of the Scilly Isles. Although the initial sighting of the hotel wasn't great-it looks quite tired both from the front and back-our two rooms were much better than expected. One of the rooms was over the bar and we were warned that... More

A friendly welcome and good location, but the cons outweighed the pros with this place. Two very noisy nights (live band and disco below our room), uncomfortable bed and pillows, and quite old fashioned. It had the charm of a granny's house, but stains on the carpets and old decor were a bit disappointing for the price. Appreciated the free... More

Stayed at this hotel with my mum when we were in Cornwall. Yes it's a little dated in the decor but completely made up for by the friendly staff, large room and very CLEAN!!! We stayed in a twin room which was very spacious and a large clean bathroom. Rooms cleaned every day and the tea/coffee replaced daily. One down... More

A lovely hotel in the center of Camborne. The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable with free wi-fi. Full English Breakfast included in the room price. A good base for visiting the tip of England.

This hotel is a throwback from the eighties, which is a shame for the staff who try their best. We had room 4 which is perfectly situated to make the most of the traffic noise. The roundabout outside our room guaranteed an endless stream of traffic all night breaking and accelerating. It showed the insulation and double glazing to be... More

We had a room close to the main street, but even this wasn´t the worst source of noise. There was a life band playing downstairs and a party going on with the guest, which was so loud we could not sleep for hours. The matraces were really bad and seemed to me quite old already. There was supposed to be... More

After several visits and enjoying the food we were so disappointed on our experience today. The carvery was one of the worst I have ever had. The potatoes were burnt , what veg was left, which was very little, was overcooked, the Yorkshire pudding never appeared. The staff were rude and grumpy, and we waited nearly an hour to be served....
