We liked the food so much we visited two nights in a row and on both, had marvelous service and the best bar food I have come across in a bar. The chef did a kids version of sausage n mash (which wasn't on kids menu) - So thank you chef. The chicken n chorizo stir fry dish was really... More

Well what a treat The Wellington was! Wonderful room, great views, smashing en suite. Food in the hotel bar was excellent, and we are here several times. It was comfortable, friendly, clean and well worth the money! Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved it!

Great atmosphere. Welcoming staff who are friendly. Nice food with a good variety of dishes.Go on a Wednesday when the local singers are in. Its a great night where everyone is encouraged to join in. I would certainly return to this place

What a lovely welcoming pub. Our first visit here was Weds 17th and there was a singers night on. The locals all had a sing song and everyone was involved, the staff even went to the trouble of making sandwiches which were handed round to everyone. We came again tonight for a meal and it was delicious. The staff couldn't... More

We enjoyed a lovely sunday lunch in the bar at the Wellington H\otel. There was unfortunately only one roast available - beef.. However the beef was delicious.!! In future they could probably give you a choice of meat rather than sticking to one meat.

We arrived in Boscastle & couldn't park as there no disabled parking spaces free. We drove round & asked if we could use the carpark at the Wellington & the staff were kind & said if we had coffee or lunch on return that would be fine. We walked around a little Boscastle was lovely as always. Lunch for 4... More

We have stayed here several times in different rooms and this one has to be the best. We were in room 21, which is in the old park of the hotel and it was truly lovely. Spotlessly clean and full of old charm and character. As always we received a warm welcome from the lady on reception. The breakfast was... More

We sat in the bar area; decor somewhat tired but comfortable. Food and service was of a good standard, with a reasonable variety to choose from, and some invention. The wine list we used (only wanted one glass), was limited, but you could access a fuller list for more choice but bottles only. Pleasant evening, and I understand there is... More

Have visited this pub many times . Have eaten here occasionally , but the food in the main was disappointing. IE burnt chips etc. But have noticed an improvement lately so decided to try the food. My husband had the welly burger which he said was very good and I had the chicken and chorizo which also was very good.... More
