We booked a table for 5 for Sunday lunch before our return journey home. We were quicly showed to our table and made to feel welcome. We were initially disappointed that they had no roast chicken left for my daughter (the rest of us were having roast beef). We were offered a choice from anything else on the menu for... More

Nice dinner with friends Food was lovely. Good taste and plenty of vegetables really well cooked. Definitely better than usual pub grub Background folk singing was a bit challenging for chatting over dinner though 😊 so bear that in mind in Wednesday nights

Great service and excellent food what more is there to say ? Would definitely recommend . Good beers on tap and lovely surroundings. The Manageress spent time with us showing us pictures of the bar and restaurant after the floods they had.

Boscastle: For good restaurant food go to the Riverside. For good pub grub go to the Napoleon. The Wellington is OK, staff are friendly, but overpriced and there is better to be had elsewhere. Where ever you select be sure to book a table. Boscastle gets very busy!

My wife and I visited Boscastle in early September for a mini break and, to celebrate a milestone in our relationship. We stayed in room 4, with a view of the courtyard and a portion of the harbour. Our stay was really enjoyable and relaxing. Staff could not have been more helpful & after a fairly long walk around the... More

I cannot fault the food at this place. Kit the chef offers excellent, fresh and delicious food. The bar staff are very attentive, chatty and welcoming. It's a great place for couples and families alike, I took my 9yr old daughter there and we had a lovely meal and chilled playing cards. Boscastle itself is a really magical and quite... More

Old hotel with friendly staff. Good menu. Good position. Food was excellent as was the breakfast. Not modern but very interesting if you like an older feel. On the night we stayed it was 'singers night' in the bar which was very different to what you might expect as more about folk songs and group singing. Definitely not karaoke. Parking... More

Varied menu with good quality food, comfortable cozy surroundings if a little dated. The staff were friendly and helpful going over and above to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The live music was in keeping with the hotel and it's location....a very memorable evening which we'll definitely repeat in the future.

Yesterday we found the Wellington Hotel and having read their dinner menu we were hooked! Even though the dining room was closed, the helpful staff gave us a lovely table covered by the bar where we could the dining menu. The food was amazing and we were told about the wines they held and ordered a very good red which surprisingly... More
