For te 4th (could be the 5thh) time we returned to The Old Rectory. As usual Sally had everuthing under controll. The mùorning breakfast was more a breakfeast with al the choices to make so early in the morning. We were lucky because Anne did cook 3 evenings and that is always an event to look out for. The weather... More

My partner and I stayed here in late May for my birthday and we can honestly say it was the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the The Old Stables purposely so we could bring our dog. The room and bathroom was spacious, cozy and very comfortable. We essentially had our own private patio which in... More

Went away for a long weekend escape. We were greeted by the friendliest of owners, offered a pot of tea after settling into our bedroom. It is placed Idyllically near many lovely walks. One to nearby Boscastle. As it is fairly far from many eateries they serve most days a set two course evening meal. Fabulous and very tasty for... More

Tucked away, with old world charm, half expected miss marple to be sitting in the garden, The whole place was spotlessly clean and comfy. Breakfast was of a good standard, Pleasant hosts, very difficult to find on map & don't belive your sat nav.

We stayed in this very nice B&B for a few days recently and were welcomed with tea and biscuits by Sally, the owner and later met Chris, her husband, and Anna, her daughter. We had one of the rooms overlooking the delightful garden which was appropriately furnished very much in the style and period of the Rectory with lots of... More

The owners ran the place as a business, they are very good at self sustainability and it is very charming to see people at home as small holders. My only gripe was a lack of connectedness from the owners who were (understandably) also organising a daughters wedding and focusing on the Literary Values of the Property. That of course is... This 19th Century B&B is fantastic. Sally, Chris, Anna and Millie the olden Retriever are all very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly hosts. To get to the Old Rectory you drive down a few narrow lanes (having grown up in the area I love this type of lane, but for those that don't take care and you will be fine -... More

We stayed at The Old Rectory last year and the place made such an impression on me that I often think of it. On arrival Sally welcomed us and showed us all around the gardens and shared a brief family history that was most inspiring. Everything about the place is so unique and so comfortable. The viewing deck in the... More

Again we have throughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely place, so peaceful and enduring. Sally and co. Are so proud of what they have to share and so they should be. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for yet another wonderful stay.

We've just come back from a weekend at this amazing B&B. On arrival we were greeted by Sally the owner and invited for tea on the terrace. This gave such a personal and caring touch. Sally also showed us around the gardens. Our room was perfect. Every detail taken care of. It was so quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic!... More
