We hired the entire hostel for a big family celebration and were amazed at how lovely it was. 20 of us stayed aged from 7 months to 70 and we all loved it. No TV which was a bit of a shock for the teenagers...More

Boscastle YHA is superbly situated right on the harbour side. Any further along and you'd be floating! Staff so very helpful and informative, sharing information in such a lovely way. Youth Hostel extremely clean. Particularly liked the wooden frame beds. So much more organic than...More

The YHA is, as others have said, right on the harbour and you can see the river and the tide at odds with each other. The village itself is a somewhat sleepy place with hints of a history of witchcraft and a history going back...More

Lovely comfortable rooms. Great Location, very close to the harbor and estuary. Very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay here again when we visit the beautiful town of Boscastle. Very nice indeed.

Good hostel with a great location right on the river and a few steps away from the Museum of Witchcraft and places to have breakfast. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was helpful. Highly recommended.

Hotel description
A lovely spot in a steep-sided valley on the rugged north Cornwall coast, this National Trust-owned rural retreat is on the harbour edge. Here, on your Cornish coast break, you can sit and watch this pretty, bustling fishing village come to life during the day and return to a sleepier pace in the evenings. For a more energetic activity break, you’ll also find excellent surfing and sailing plus miles of coastal footpaths to explore - great for walking holidays. It's self-catering only here, but you can get to know the locals in the nearby pubs while sampling some tasty Cornish food and local ales.
