COnvenient for Wembley stadium. Made to feel very welcome in the restaurant by the Maitre D from Romania - Daniel who must be a real asset to Hilton. 😀 Only downside was the queue to check out - not enough staff

I stayed here with family before the Jack Savoretti concert at the Wembley Arena for one night. From the moment we arrived this hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and the lobby is airy, spacious with stunning lighting. The room had elegant, contemporary decor with Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries in the bathroom. I enjoyed a swim in the pool - it’s small ( 12 metres) but well maintained and the changing rooms and showers were clean and tidy. There’s also a small gym which also looked well kept. We all had a lovely meal in the bar on the 3rd floor. There was a good variety of choice for a bar menu. After the concert we went up to the Sky Bar on the 9th floor. There was a long queue for drinks, as the bar on the 3rd floor was closed, but it was a pleasant place to round off the evening - and with live music. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept well. The breakfast was really excellent. Many big hotels have a large buffet - but this was really good quality. Hand prepared fruit, eggs cooked to order and delicious continental options. The croissant were perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful - Neil, one of the managers - ensured that one family member who has coeliac had a specially prepared gluten-free breakfast which was thoroughly enjoyed. Claudia was attentive and kept our tea and coffee topped up. Overall, a great stay and, for a ‘corporate’ hotel, it has a very friendly feel.

We visited for one night, attending a concert at the Stadium. The hotel is ideally placed for that and the hotel special rate in the Gold Car Park is very reasonable at £15 per day. The hotel is quite expensive - but that is to be expected given the location. The staff on reception were helpful and efficient and we were pleased to be offered a glass of prosecco as we checked in. Room was adequate and very much standard Hilton layout and contents. However the Executive Lounge was poor. Not helped by breakfast finishing at 10, it was very busy between 9.30 am and 10 am. Some of the food ran out and there was no cutlery. There were only two staff on duty and one of them became quite surly after the third time we asked him to get cutlery - even though by then our food was cold. There was only one coffee machine. I would encourage management to look at what can be done - at other branches - an almost identical food offering is done much better at the Waldorf Hilton for example.

We had no problems checking in or out and found the staff generally very friendly and willing to help. The position next to Wembley Stadium is excellent. The price was high but I suspect that is the case with any hotel so near to Wembley when there is a match or event - the convenience of walking 5 minutes from your seat in the stadium back to the hotel is very good. The room was larger than expected for London and beds comfortable.

An excellent venue, close to the action, superb facilities & friendly staff. Not the venue if you're on a budget, the place to stay for a special trip ! The bar got crowded later on however, it stayed open long enough for us to have the fun we wanted.
