This was our first visit (8th November) to this hotel for a mid week lunch with our friends from Henfield. We were given a very warm welcome and showed to a lovely room for lunch. The menu looked very interesting and I and my wife had the smoked salmon roulade for starters followed by the chicken main course dish and...

About a year and a half ago my partner and me went to visit Tottington Manor as a possible wedding venue, we instantly decided it was perfect for us. Not too big, not too small and we could have the whole venue for our special day. We married last month, October 8th and we honestly had the best day of...

My wife and I got married here on the 29th of October, the venue is so beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. My wife stayed the night before our wedding and all she kept on doing was praising Sarah and her team. There was a few people that didn't show up on the day,so Sarah had to quickly...

6 of us came here for Sunday lunch. A lovely welcome and friendly staff, beautiful views across the downs. All 3 courses were well presented and tasty and everybody enjoyed lunch. Prices good as well. Well worth a visit

3 of us booked in for Sunday lunch. It all looked great but the potatoes were leathery as was the Yorkshire pud and the beef was OK but not really tasty. I sampled my sons Roast Pork and found it very dry. The room was nice and light (ghastly pictures though) and staff were lovely.

This place has the potential to be good but is currently very tired. Our visit was made enjoyable by Janet, who was front of house and the chef, who provided good food. Our room was very poor but we were shown that there are much better ones. This place needs a serious makeover and new management as even without spending...

We stayed one night in July in a luxury room and ate dinner in the restaurant. The room was large with good views over the South Downs but as it was in the old part of the hotel it was a little worn and the en-suite shower room was very small. It has a large free car park, you need...

A BIG THANK YOU to Jan (assistant manager) who looked after us so well during our overnight stay in an executive room. The rooms were spacious and clean and the evening meal and breakfast the next morning were fantastic. Our group of 4 will definately be booking again and are hoping to stay during one of their special murder mystery...

This was our first visit after a recommendation and we were not disappointed, the staff were welcoming and the dining area was tasteful with great views out to the downs,it is located in countryside completely on its own. We had the lunch special, the portions were very generous and the food cooked to a high standard, and great value for money....

We went to Tottington as a family for Mother's Day and had a really lovely meal. We decided to go to show my two Nans as it's my wedding venue in August and I wanted them to see it beforehand. Staff were very friendly and accommodating - as I'm a fussy eater, they provided me with a 3 course meal...

“Avoid older rooms with quirky features and uneven floors, but more modern rooms may be above the evening venue area and could be noisy. Our old room was actually really quiet.”

“When booking ask if you can be put either in the lovely new annexe that has just been built or a room at the back of the hotel as there are I think 3 rooms which are directly above the restaurant but its not a rowdy, noisy place. They also have a room with a Four poster bed. Beautiful old building very quirky.”
