I arrived just before midnight to a warm welcome from a friendly and efficient member of staff. Check in was easy, breakfast booked and special assistance pick up for next morning was arranged. My room was fabulous, spacious and well appointed, with a huge, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a walk in shower as well as a bath. The whole place was spotlessly clean. After relaxing in the bath I fell into bed and was asleep within minutes. Usually I get little sleep when travelling but the bed was so comfortable I had a solid few hours. Friendly and efficient staff welcomed me to the restaurant for breakfast. There was a huge selection of food available in the breakfast buffet to cater for all tastes. I had a delicious and leisurely meal before being picked up for my onward journey. This was a piece of heavenly luxury to round off a great holiday. I highly recommend the hotel.…

It’s good to see this hotel firing on all cylinders post pandemic. The Club Millesime for frequent stay elite guests is back in its original club room and has a new format involving table served hot appetizers from Chef Arvind. I particularly enjoyed the piri piri chicken. Service by Rabina, Victor & Sherry was fast & unobtrusive. The serve yourself walnuts & pecans were also a treat. I will review La Belle Epoque restaurant separately but again, am expecting great things. Thank goodness the demolition of this exceptional airport hotel to make way for a third runway now looks unlikely.

Great hotel and Staff, my room was superb. I was here for one night only as I was flying out in the morning. The hotel is superbly placed for terminal 5 and is undercover as well. I used room service and the server was a very friendly guy called Noor. He was extremely professional, a credit to this hotel. I will come again x

I stay here regularly but have not joined the loyalty programme (total oversight) however tonight was the warmest welcome I have received here and it has made the trip that bit nicer. As a regular traveller taking long haul flights from London most weeks you do get a little fed up of airport hotels as it’s always so transactional with it being short layovers which means there is no loyalty to any particular hotel when it feels like nothing more than a bed for a night. Aartee was so pleasant and helpful in check i I have changed my view there and have come to my room and booked a subsequent two night stay for myself and a family member on a leisure trip in a few weeks because if we are looked after as well on that visit it will be a nice start to a much needed holiday. One person can truly make a difference to a brand. Aartee did just that.…

This is an excellent stop over if you have an early flight or a stopover at Heathrow. We thought the hotel was very comfortable (excellent mattress and pillows) and the rooms were spacious. Furthermore, it was so quiet - you never would have thought you were in the middle of an airport. I would definitely stay here again if I have a morning flight out of Heathrow or just a one day stop over. For the price (easily compatible with central London hotel prices) I highly recommend it.

This hotel was a lovely surprise. All the staff we interacted with was helpful and friendly. The checkin person made sure we were on the breakfast list and that turned out to be fantastic. Eddy made us delicious omelettes to order. The choices offered were the best I’ve seen in a long while. The beds were cozy and comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Clean. I would totally recommend.

Recently stayed at the Sofitel the night before flying out to Canada the following morning, as we thought it would make a nice relaxing start to our trip rather than commute in early morning rush hour. We were thinking to get dinner but decided a light meal and nice drink would be lovely. Checkin took a little while as they seemed to have trouble finding our online booking, then tried to go to our room and had to go back to reception again as room keys were not working - so when we reached the wine bar/brassiere we were looking forward to some food and drink- both of us are coeliac so need gluten free - so for a top hotel serving a major airport it was very disappointing to find NOTHING on the menu was available gluten free - all we could eat was a dish of almonds and popcorn!!! - checked out their restaurant and same issue - spoke to management and they said sorry couldn't help - VERY VERY POOR …
