Room was filthy, dirty toilet, rubbish left in cupboard, hair in the bed, breakfast awful with under cooked sausages, paid £89 for one niht, made a complaint back in December and still have not had a response from management! Would never return!
Stayed for 1-night with family during Xmas and New Year break. The lodge had good number of rooms and we got the one with 2 double beds (1 double and 1 sofa bed). The double bed was really good but the sofabed's mattress was shabby...More
A recent stay for a family reunion.
The room was clean but both beds were extremely uncomfortable, springs felt in one bed.
The breakfast was excellent and the room very quite.

Receptionist lovely fella .from Sri Lanka I think .Very friendly and chatty. Would stay here again .rooms also cosy and beds comfortable. Shops a short walk from hotel .breakfast very nice too.stayed here one night would recommend
Booked on the fly but then realised I’d stayed here before.
Very friendly accommodating Manager/ Owner who stayed late for my arrival.
Parking very good and no charge... certainly a 3 star hotel and a little tired BUT clean and warm with all you need....More

Yes, both mine and my colleague's rooms had an electric kettle for boiling water.
Please note however, if you're traveling with a baby, there are lots of narrow and steep staircases which could cause you trouble.

I don't believe they do allow dogs. They were not unfriendly when we were there but the staff were not always as ready to serve as you may wish, especially the staff at breakfast. Reception staff seemed fine.
