We have just enjoyed a 1 night stay in the Woodcock Suite. The room is very spacious & benefits from a balcony which allows you to step outside & take in the sea view. The ensuite bathroom is also a good size & benefits from a corner bath with a shower over. Both the room & ensuite were presented to... More

This hotel is much better than many who specialise in coach parties and relatively low budget holidays. Our room was spacious, clean and reasonably modern in decoration. A good shower was a nice bonus. The breakfast was more than adequate and the dinners were typical of this type of hotel. So edible, hot and efficiently served but not exactly haute... More

Chose the Monarch as going to show at The Spa, Very friendly staff and we got parked outside front entrance. Room good and fabulous sea view, although bathroom dated but overall very clean and tidy. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board and heater provided. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in August with my two grandchildren for the second time for three nights. Management and staff gave us five star treatment. A special thank you to the chef who made sure both my grandchildren had varied and delicious meals even though they have several food allergies. We will certainly book for another stay here, nothing is too much... More

We paid £90 for both of us for one night b&b. The hotel is quite tired & needs updating. The bedroom was basic with quite tired furniture but the bed was clean & quite comfortable. The bathroom could so with updating & a more modern shower fitted as the 1 in place was the old fashioned type coming of the... More

Stayed here for one night, had booked a single room but was allocated a large spacious double with a lovely big bay window with a great sea view. Good hotel even if a touch dated. Breakfast was nice and tasty but the organisation of taking orders was not the best, i waited ages to have my order taken and then... More

We booked through Booking.com and when we arrived found that we had be upgraded to the Woodcock Suite. Great room, lots of spac, clean and with large flat screen television - and a balcony with fantastic sea views and a table and chairs to sit out on. The manager was welcoming and she was also extremely helpful. We had a... More

Stayed one night here on way to Newcastle, wish we had stayed longer. Darren and his staff really looked after us, the room very comfortable and the breakfast (English) brilliant. The hotel situated right on the seafront and ten minutes to the center of the resort. Bridlington a very popular and enjoyable resort, with very competitively priced food and beverages,... More
