I could not recommend this place highly enough. To say the food is outstanding is an understatement and you feel like you are immersed in comfort the minute you step through the door. Thank you for everything xx

The Belmont hosted us after our way of the roses coast to coast cycle trip. The hospitality from Sue and Rob was second to non. We were made to feel incredibly welcome in a very homely b&b. Our bikes were securely stored and the cup of tea on arrival was a nice touch. Just what we needed after 170 miles... More

Our 4 night, long weekend stay at The Belmont was a delight. Sue and Rob are wonderfully warm and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our en-suite family room was pleasingly well equipped and presented, with lovely decor and comfortable beds. Breakfasts were excellent! Sue also offered lots of useful information about where to eat and visit... More

Just spent another excellent week with Sue & Rob. A lovely warm friendly greeting is guaranteed on arrival by Sue, Rob and family. All rooms are serviced daily and are nicely decorated and spotless. Excellent choice of breakfasts but the full English is a must. Relax in the Bar Lounge in the evening either watching TV or chatting over a drink... More

We stayed here Monday to Friday. Sue is a great host and nothing was too much trouble and gave good advice on places to visit. The beach is less than 5 mins walk away. Room was lovely but in need of a refurb. I know this is something sue is looking into doing.

Amazing stay at The Belmont, Sue and Rob are the most courteous, kind and caring people. The genuine welcome with a refreshing cup of Yorkshire tea was much appreciated. Breakfast was enjoyed by everyone, delicious and substantial (Reg well rated the kippers 👍). Location is perfect for beach/town/cliff walks. Excellent rooms and service, clean and comfortable. We stayed here after finishing our "Way of Roses" journey from York to Bridlington. What a fabulous find! Sue and Rob are the sweetest, kindest, friendliest innkeepers! Sue literally meet us at the door when we arrived and settled us in with hot tea. The rooms are charming, clean and so comfortable. The next morning, Sue and Rob served us... More
