I'll admit on entering I was sceptical. I have stayed at many 4 star hotels and this while clean was very obviously dated in its decorations and furnishings and I instantly sensed this was targeted to a much older guest. However I can say this is a lovely and charming place. The hosts were very welcoming, personally showing me and... More

We stayed at the broadfield in Bridlington when we went to see our family as my grandson had not long been out of hospital. We were the only clients in the place yet we were on the top floor. Facilities were all there ie. Luggage stand, tea and coffee making facilities with good choice of drinks and biscuits. Ibhad to... More

We are sorry that you felt unhappy about your stay. The reason you were placed on the top floor was because we felt, that you would have a nice quiet room and the facilities in that room, were of more space and comfort and room to move around. The rooms on the first floor are both twin rooms and the... More

We have stayed at the Broadfield many times as it is such a good place. This visit was as brilliant as ever. The owners are friendly and helpful. The room was warm, well decorated, the bed was comfortable and the breakfasts brilliant. We shall be back again later in the year.

On arrival shown to our room, which was pleasant enough, however the cold hit us as we walked in to the room and the owner immediately apologised stating that her husband was coming to bleed the radiator. We went out for the afternoon and on arrival back at 6pm was shocked that the room was still freezing. Tried to find... More

We are sorry about the problem with the radiator, we were unable to resolve the problem the night you stayed, as we had a problem with the boiler which were unaware of at the time. More

The owners are very friendly and welcoming the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is well presented, tasty and of ample proportions. There is a bar but it was never open (maybe it only opens on request).

My husband and I were in Bridlington to see a band at the Spa so wanted somewhere to stay around that area. The Broadfield is in a fantastic location, easy to get to and just off the sea front, about 2mins walk to the Spa and town centre. The couple who own the place are lovely and very hard working....
