My friend and I booked a Summer Fun trip with Urquhart Travel and we stayed at the Brittania Stockport Hotel from Friday till Sunday. We had a day out to Liverpool on the Saturday. Would definitely recommend it. The food at the hotel was buffet style and the selection was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful.Rooms were a... More

Another hotel from our coach tours. Reception was friendly and food was good. A little quieter than other hotels we've stayed in. Rooms were small and basic but comfortable enough. I wouldnt pay through the nose to stay here. One bonus addition was the free use of the pool and sauna/steam room!

Reception was under par but not too bad. Gaming machines right opposite the desk, however, were off putting and staff were teenagers lacking professionalism. Their uniforms were dirty and shabby. They had greasy hair. The passage to the stairwell and the carpet on the stairs was very badly worn. The room we were allocated was a total shock horror. It... More

I've given this review two stars as it's cheap. If you're looking for somewhere cheap to spend the night, this is the place, however if you're looking for somewhere to SLEEP, then for your own sanity book the local YMCA instead, it's a better option. OK. here goes! We stayed here on Saturday evening. The pool etc closes at the... More

Nearly cancelled our coach trip based on some of the reviews. So glad we didn't ! The set up was pretty much like a lot of Britannia hotels: Basic rooms and buffet breakfast and dinner. The twin room was clean with good sized bathroom. We were on the ground floor and looked onto the car park, not scenic but we... More

Stayed for two separate nights on stopover to and from south coast. Very worried beforehand as had read previous reviews on Trip Advisor. However very pleasantly surprised. I can assure you we saw no evidence at all of "asylum seekers or immigrants", none at all. I requested ground floor room before arrival and got one no problem. The double room... More

For £50 a night bed and breakfast it is excellent value, large car park lit all night. Loads of breakfast selection and eat as much as you like, starts at 7.00am. Could not get the internet to work, it is part of the deal. Reason I bought an IPhone so that I can tether, 4G available.

We had to stay here on 08/07/2016 as we booked 'park and stay' as part of our Thomson holiday. It is the worst hotel that I've ever stayed in. The bedrooms are not like the glossy website portrays. The beds are cheap and the bed linen is disgusting. It's like a hotel used by the local authority for homeless people.... More
