Over 200 of us met for a 10th anniversary of our choirs. The Balmoral suite was beautiful. The organisation was excellent, easy to find places and space to sit. The service of the really good 3 course meal was fantastic. A well oiled machine! All the staff were polite, helpful, quick and well trained. Everything was delivered on time. Vegetables just right, meat and fish cooked well, plenty of food; desserts lovely; lots of tea and coffee, water. A lovely venue and nothing was too much trouble.

We recently had our wedding day at the Deanwater Hotel and it was a truly magnificent day. The hotel provided the perfect venue for our wedding. The sun was shining so my wife and I had lovely photos in the wood at the back of the hotel and the lovely garden. Our guests were able to enjoy drinks on the beautiful terrace. The whole venue was perfect for our special day. I have to highly compliment Barry the hotel manager who helped us arrange our day and ensured it all ran smoothly. He is extremely organised and pays so much attention to the small details. His team of staff were also fantastic, they were friendly, polite and engaging. I would highly reccomend people to have their wedding at this fantastic venue.

I enjoy our family trips to the Deanwater, even as the trip was for a funeral, always a warm welcome, rooms spotless but very hot radiators seem to work overtime! 7 of us stayed overnight, 11 of us had dinner in the restaurant , all dishes cooked and presented to the usual high standard. Staff are great funny, friendly and always will go the extra mile for you. Nothing too much trouble or effort for them and all with a smile on their faces. Paul is a real gem behind the bar as is his colleague whose name I did not catch, he had the black shirt on, they work so very well as a duo. Breakfast quality of produce excellent , we 7 arrived at 8:30 and were last in. Think hotel booked with business folk in the week and they breakfast earlier than us. My only gripe is each time we stay the fresh fruit salad has almost gone, I let my niece and sister have the last tiny bits. Why more is not offered or filled up Im not sure, if not used at breakfast bet it would go at lunch on the dessert menu. At home I have fruit every morning but didnt ask as the lady serving seemed to want to get cleared up and off.

Stayed here for one night last year. Staff were very friendly and rooms were comfortable and quiet. The food from the restaurant was also good quality. This may sound a little silly but the fabric softener used on the bed sheets was delightful. Upon my return to London I told my wife about this and she called up the hotel to ask what softener they used. Unfortunately they never called us back so we never got to find out. The hotel can always reply to this message if they like!
