We popped in here to catch one of the Euro games on TV. The atmosphere was good but the place was packed and we thought we would be standing. We were kindly given a seat and had a few drinks enjoying the soccer. Overall a pleasant atmosphere and a nice Inn.

Only stayed for one night in family room. Very impressed. We were 3 adults. Plenty of toiletries and lovely fluffy towels. Had good bar meal when we arrived and a very substantial full English breakfast. Very welcoming staff. Used pay and display car park £3 for 24hrs. Quaint little town and lovely river walk.

We stayed for 2 nights this time so that we could explore more of the surrounding area. It's a lovely part of the world. We chatted... More

We visited The Star Inn for my 50th birthday and were greeted by the friendly staff who then showed us to our room. The room was tastefully decorated, and in keeping with the age of the building with beautiful solid wood furniture and a huge solid wood bed which was very comfortable indeed. We had a lovely time exploring the... More

We stayed here when we were visiting Busfest at the Malvern showground. We had the family room, which was really spacious and a separate bedroom area for the kids which was perfect. Hotel has had a recent refurb so ignore previous reports of it looking tired. It is also under new management and we couldn't fault them at all. Food... More

Went down to Upton with my wife a & grand daughter for a lunchtime meal. Our preferred pub (Anchor) didn't do food on a Tuesday, so we tried the Star. Wow! It was great. My wife went for the special, salmon in Hollandaise sauce, g/daughter for the bacon burger, myself for the 'Everything'' burger. The burgers came with great chips... More
