This is the sort of family run unspoilt place you dream of finding, from the wonderful welcome and banter from all the well trained, efficient and helpful staff, the fabulous room which was very clean, quiet, comfortable and well priced and the super food and atmosphere in the very popular, well-known pub/restaurant downstairs. I was looking for an ideal overnight stopover, whilst driving back to Devon and this was, and will continue to be, it!

We stayed here two nights over Easter and were impressed with the room and service. The five guest rooms are all in an adjoining annexe, added some 30 years ago in the same style as the pub (parts of which are ancient) Our room (No.3) was on the first floor looking out across the car park to open fields beyond. It was a good size, very nicely furnished in pine and had a large bathroom. It gave the impression of having been recently refurbished and was pristine as well as homely. The bed was comfy and there was TV & DVD (selection available free), tea/coffee making and complimentary bottled water & biscuits. We especially enjoyed the bar and restaurant (reviewed separately) We would definitely recommend it.

Stayed at the Boot Inn for one night whilst down south for work. On arriving we were shown to our room, and informed of breakfast times. When it became apparent we would be leaving before breakfast started, the landlady offered to make us sandwiches to take with us which was much appreciated! Room was very comfortable and clean. We ate in the Inn and the food was excellent, a very good selection and both of us were very happy with what we got.i had the warm avocado and Stilton to start an it was spot on! A very nice hotel in a nice part of the country and the food made it even better. Cheers

Stayed overnight at The Boot 30/3/2019 with family. Cannot fault the location, cleanliness, restaraunt, staff and friendliness. We had a fabulous stay and we had a young toddler with us and she was made extremely welcome, nothing was too much trouble, even for her warm milk bottle at bedtime. The evening meal was delicious with plenty of choice, hot and plentiful as was breakfast the next morning, with everything you could wish for. English or continental no problem. The hotel is in a prime location for trips to the delightful Cotswolds. We had booked into another hotel for the following night in Bourton on the Water but to be honest I wished we'd just stayed two nights at The Boot as we were only half an hour away to travel back. That's definetly what we will do next time. Many thanks to Jack, Carol and Lee for a lovely stay. Loved the jokes Jack...
