My partner brought me here and it was fantastic The couple who run it are incredibly friendly even drew a map to show us where the best walking places were The food was to die for in the morning Spotlessly clean Really quaint The room was perfect with extra bits like an emergency sewing kit ! This is an absolute gem of a B&B. Owners Lois and John are wonderful, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We were going to a family event nearby, John drove us to the event. Breakfast was exceptional, as was the company, My wife dropped her gloves in Johns car ( we hadn't noticed) next day they arrived home,...

This quaint B&B oozes charm and character. We spent 4 four nights and it was a fantastic stay. Our room was downstairs and looked out on to the rear Garden of which was a superb sight to wake up when opening the Bedroom Patio Door.. The Guests Lounge was very comfortable and as well as Sofas there was ample Desk...

My daughter and I stumbled across this B&B by a fortuitous accident. We are so glad that we did. Lois and John are charming hosts. It is a truly interesting and historic house and Lois had a lot of information about it. She also knew a lot about the surrounding area and as for her breakfasts !!! 5 stars are...

One of the nicest B & B's i have stayed in, beautiful charming building and Louis and John were most welcoming and friendly. Wonderful breakfast with plenty to offer, we stayed in the family room which was perfect for our one night stay. Hope to visit again next summer. Can't recommend enough!!

Many thanks to John and Lois for making us so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even preparing a full English breakfast for us at 6.30 am on a Sunday morning before our fishing trip! The accommodation itself was quaint, well located and spotlessly clean. Recommended.

Really worth a visit- stumbled on it by accident. A small visitor centre at the entrance leading on to an old 'corridor' which has both little interesting workshops and historical displays and trinkets along it. At the end it opens into a courtyard with a cafe, an antique shop and local wares. There is also a walled garden which is...

We arrived early in the day but we didn't get an answer so we left a note and came back later. On our return we got a friendly welcome from Lois and John and we were offered tea in the lounge with some tasty cake. We were encouraged to have a wander in the garden which was beautiful and we...

A very good B&B, John and Lois are very helpful and make you feel at home, they can't do enough for you. We had the family room, very clean and well looked after. The breakfast was very good and Lois makes the best cheese and ham omelette. We will certainly be staying again.
