First time to stay in this lovely B&B. Sharon is a very welcoming hostess. Bedrooms are on the top floor with a great view of the Avon and the peacefully tranquil farmlands beyond. My bed was cosy and comfortable. Only slight drawback is the shared shower room. Breakfast was on the very bottom floor ... there are 5 floors and stairs!! Sorry Sharon, I kept you chatting through my breakfast, I'll be quieter next time ... promise! But you shouldn't have so much local knowledge!!!

Very central location to the stunning town of Malmesbury. Views across the valley and river Avon are just spectacular and the abbey is just 1 minute walk. We had a double room for the weekend and the b&b serves as a great central point for visiting Bath (40 mins) and Cheltenham (45 mins) Malmesbury itself is well worthy of your time and is very picturesque with a quaint high street and fantastic architecture. Make sure you bring your camera! Breakfast was a treat with local sausage, bacon, egg and (I think) homemade bread. There is the option of cereal etc too. The room was very cosy with a connecting shower room. Lastly the owner; Sharon, she was lovely and very helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble and she gave us some great info on Malmesbury and where to go and see. A couple of pubs - Smoking Dog and Whole Hog are decent, typical places for a drink and again, very easy walking distance. All in all a very enjoyable stay. A lovely breakfast and very sweet host. Will hopefully be coming back to see more of the area and will definitely be staying here again.

4 of us stayed here for one night whilst on a cycling trip. We had two rooms on the top floor but did need to share a bathroom. Not sure I'd have been too happy had I not known the other couple. The view from our room across the valley was truly spectacular and the landlady was very pleasant. Our bikes were kindly allowed to be housed inside which shows she is obliging and the breakfast was very nice as there was plenty of choice for the cooked options.
