We had a very comfortable stay here, with a marvellous breakfast. Very warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. We chose to get a taxi to the town centre as we'd cycled all day and didn't want to walk the one mile back along the way we'd come. Getting a return taxi wasn't that easy, however. It was a very quiet...

Many thanks for your review, good to know you enjoyed your stay and we hope the rest of your cycle ride went well. It's a shame about the wait for a taxi. Devizes can be very quiet at times but we're always happy to book for guests in advance.

A welcoming, comfortable, immaculate B&B on the Wessex Ridgeway. The rooms were very comfortable with many extra items eg plenty of hooks on the doors, fresh milk and fruit, selection of good teas, great beds and all very clean. Sue and Martin made us very welcome and provided superb, freshly cooked breakfasts with a 'special' every day. A superb B&B...

Thank you so much for your lovely review Barbara, it's good to know the little things (like the door hooks) all go towards making a stay extra comfortable! We really enjoyed meeting you all and hope the rest of your walk went well (and that Geoff's leg held up OK).

Our first visit to the area was made more enjoyable by the warm welcome from Sue and Martyn. We stayed in the garden room for 5 very comfortable nights and were pleased with the high standard of housekeeping and well appointed room. This room had a lovely view of the garden and over the fields to Devizes. Breakfast was delicious...

Thank you for your lovely review, it's great to know we're 'doing it right' and that you enjoyed your stay so much. There's so much to see and do in the area that even 5 nights isn't long enough so we hope you'll return to see yet more.

This is the best B&B I have stayed in. The booking process was easy. The welcome was warm and the hosts helpful each day. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped. The breakfasts were just amazing. They do the usual full English but also offer a "special" each day which are not to be missed. Sadly they are...

Rooms were very comfortable and to a high standard. Cleanliness outstanding. Breakfast perfect every morning. Walking distance to town. If you needed local knowledge the owners would gladly take the time to talk with maps printed if required. Would highly recommend.

Great and gracious hosts. Out of the ordinary, with excellent local knowledge and walking suggestions. Brilliant, peaceful, quiet - they quite definitely go the extra mile! And all this for no-notice drop in yanks! (But do make a reservation so they can help your planning!) Great breakfast too!!

Thanks for the lovely review, Barb. We both really enjoyed meeting you and helping plan your walks. Shame we couldn't provide wall to wall dry weather. That's such a lovely review, thank you! It's a shame we didn't have more chance to chat due to your very long days working - maybe next time. :-) And I'll make sure we have plenty of strawberry jam........lots of strawberries in the garden at the moment but probably not enough for much jam.
