Stayed a couple of weeks back on an overnight visit to Castle combe with my wife. We stayed in a double executive room which was spacious and spotless. Food in the restaurant was of a very good standard. To summarise a gem of a place to visit. Would definitely return if back in the area

The village Castle Combe is unique; no wonder it has been voted as the most beautiful village in England. The Castle Inn is at the center of the very, very small village and is amazing. We had a room where you had to mind your head all the time. Old wooden beams, creaky floors and no straight lines just made... More

On a 7 mile round walk, we stopped in Castle Combe for some sustenance. Sat outside on the little table to watch the world (literally!) go by and enjoyed baguettes. The servings were very generous, 2 halves each of enormous baguettes, filled to bursting: rare roast beef and cremefraiche horseradish for him, mature cheddar and wiltshire ham for her with... More

We had an enjoyable Sunday Lunch at the Castle, BEef and Pork tender and of good quality although quite sparing on the amount of vegetables served, ordered desserts, the ice cream was fantastic and the sorbet. Expensive lunch but we will re visit in the future

Lovely hotel in a stunning village. A perfect way to see Castle Combe at its best once all the crowds have gone home. Rooms are well designed and modern yet stylishly traditional at the same time. Breakfast was nice and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal in the restaurant. Pricy but you do get what you pay for!

Recently booked for 1 night as part of a mini-break away for a few days. We had visited before and had lunch and an evening meal, but that was while we were staying at the Manor House Hotel nearby. Without exception, all of the staff we had the pleasure to meet were superb and nothing was too much trouble. Our... More

This was a good place to relax over coffee and scones, after wandering around the village of Castle Combe. Service was quick and efficient and the landlord was happy to share tales of the village. The hotel is centrally situated right on the town square.

Castle Combe is very pretty and this establishment is just in the right place! We managed to get a table outside in the sun and take in the beautiful area. Hubby had Guinness and I had a cream tea! Happy with my choice, it was deelish. Thought maybe one scone was a bit tight for the price but it was... More

We called in into this hotel for a drink on a recent visit to Castle Combe. The service was welcoming and everything was fine. This is somewhere we have wanted to visit for some time and we were impressed. We would have booked accommodation here but it is rather expensive.

We travel down regularly to race at Castle Combe circuit over the summer and found this lovely hotel on our first trip down. We have never stayed but rather stop off on the way to the circuit for a relaxing coffee in the lounge or outside if the sun is out. Lovely location in the village, friendly staff, free wifi,...
