Spent the evening here in a most fabulous room. Exquisite attention to detailing with many really lovely touches. I can highly recommend the Feathered Beef (which was truly divine!!) All the staff team were brilliant, extremely helpful and welcoming! The food, the service and the place where truly memorable and I look forward to visiting here again for a longer...

Situated in the idyllic village of Castle Combe, The Castle Inn offers a more luxurious place to stay and dine in style. We only stayed one night, but the team were welcoming and friendly. Lovely finishing touches to the room (including a "do not disturb" teddy bear to place outside the room) made it all the more special. If I...

We spent a night here during Easter Weekend and it was marvellous- comfortable rooms right in the heart of Castle Coombe. Being Easter, it was frantically busy but at no time did we feel neglected- the service was wonderful. Because of the popularity of the Castle Inn, some items on the menu had sold out but the quality of the...

We were spending the weekend in Castle Combe and spent the Friday night having a family dinner here - so glad we did! The staff were super accomodating and friendly - we had one sleeping baby in a pram and we arrived late due to another child not going to bed for the babysitter - but it didn't phase them...

A lovely hotel in a stunning location, the hotel was not too full so early mornings were a bliss with the village peaceful and tranquil. We stayed in Room 7 which had a 4 poster bed and over looked the Church over the road. The room is wonderful full of character with old beams and uneven floors. The mattress on...

After experiencing the worst at the opposite pub the white hart (check my review on the white hart to understand) me and my family was welcomed at the castle inn. We enjoyed a lovely meal and drinks and was much happier. The staff are amazing and polite and food is amazing quality! Highly highly recommend this place to have something...

We ate at Castle Inn the evening prior to a wedding at The Manor House in Castle Combe. Service was very good. We were a large party, the food came out at the same time. All of the meals were well presented. I ordered pie and it was a clear favourite . Well recommended. Very filling too. Food isn't cheap,...

Didn't stay here but called in for a delicious lunch. Beautifully appointed with excellent customer service - situated right in the centre of this stunningly beautiful village. Best fish finger sandwich I've had for long time, complimented by an extremely scrummy sticky toffee pudding. If you're lunching in Castle Combe, this is the place.

We called in on the off chance of getting an evening meal as we hadn't booked and were staying in the upper village. We had to wait a little while (Saturday evening) but the lounge was well appointed and comfortable so it wasn't a hardship. The menu is a little restricted, perhaps a little pricey (drinks definitely were but that's...
