Pros Gorgeous exterior property and surrounding areas Generous breakfast Golf course nearby Cons Rooms need updating and smell a bit musty No air conditioning and fans are loud Service is spotty Stayed a weekend and was disappointed with the accommodations as the carpet, bedding, drapes, and appointments were old and faded. I would not say that this is a luxury... More

I have been to stay at The Manor House on a few occasions and it has never disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and the surroundings are stunning! If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind then this is just the place. The pubs close by are very quaint and are a great alternative for dining if... More

The hotel is set in its own grounds in the beautiful village of Castle Coombe. There are many walks, a full size golf course and lawn crocket. The accommodation is excellent, well serviced with an excellent restaurant. Good service and a hotel to enjoy a relaxing stay.

This is a beautiful hotel in a picturesque village. From the time that the electric gates open to you to the time they close behind you the service and quality is second to none. We had a beautiful afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones and cakes to die for. Fantastic service. We have also eaten here and this was also first... More

Quintissentially English. Superb rooms, food and bar. The grounds are also spectacular. The staff are thoughtful, particularly the restaurant team and the sommelier was first rate. Worth a visit and striking distance from London.

Came for a last minute stay here with my husband. Beautiful hotel and grounds (even in the rainy weather we had!). We had some lunch in the bar, not cheap but very nice and service was top notch from everyone during our whole stay. Room had the comfiest bed I've ever slept on and a very nice large roll top... We traveled there as a birthday treat for my husband for his 60th Birthday and were certainly not disappointed. From the reception through to departure the staff were professional and courteous from start to finish. The food in the Bybrook restaurant was world class with the most sumptuous flavours I have encountered in a restaurant in the UK for a... More

We visited here for the 10 year anniversary do of my partners dad and his wife. They had celebrated there wedding 10 years previous at the same location. The Manor House hotel is lovely, the grounds are spectacular and luckily it was a lovely sunny weekend which we enjoyed sitting out in the sun and relaxing on deck chairs near... More

The Manor House Hotel is a superb building in an exceptional setting and is a really interesting and comfortable place to stay. Its golf course close by, but not spoiling the setting, is a very enjoyable, but don't try it without taking a buggy. There are shortcomings at the hotel. Why put TV in the bathroom if it doesn't get... More

An olde worlde hotel with all mod cons, free wi-fi, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast was stunning and our overall deal a great price for the quality. Pretty village, lots of walks, golf course. Quirky rooms, cottages also available.Highly recommend.
