Stayed over one night on the way to Cornwall. Very clean and nice place to stay. The breakfast was amazing one of the best I have had well worth a stop over and we will use again. You have to Pakistan next door but they give you a ticket so not that bad and only 100 yards up the road.

This is a friendly hotel run by a couple. It is located close to a wide range of restaurants and the bus routes. Each room is unique, I stayed in 3 different rooms over a 3 week business trip. I was looking forward to another 10 more weeks there but the requirement was cut short. Breakfasts were so good hard... More

Well I am currently in my room which looks like something from the 70's or should I say that it hasn't been redecorated since the 70's. I have picked off the pillow cases some curly black hairs. I'm trying to convince myself that it's probably come from the laundry. The lower half of the door into the room is splattered... More

Booked in as base to visit Stonehenge and Avebury Stones/Village. Delightful hotel and lovely bespoke room - friendly staff - really tasty breakfast - quaint honesty bar - complementary parking nearby. Great location - Amesbury village was lovely, several nice pubs just minutes walk away and good restaurants (Tandoori Nights just down road was excellent with extensive and different menu).... More

The staff were warm, welcoming, and obviously committed to providing a great experience. My family and I stayed in the "Sarum" room. The room is brand new and absolutely wonderful. The decor is modern and attractive, the bed is ultra-comfortable, the bathroom is large and well-equipped. The room opens up to a walled-in patio area that is large (shared with... More

Brilliant, friendly service with a smile. Rooms were adequate and comfortable. Only downside was - we had a downstairs room and because of the heat and liking fresh air was the outside noise of late night revellers. Great breakfast, good variety, served quickly.

We stayed in one of the very comfortable and really tastefully new rooms at the back of Fairlawn House. Very nice room, with lots of space, a very comfy bed and nice and modern en suite bathroom. Breakfast was also very good and a wide choice of cooked breakies were available. But also the quality of the breakfast itself was... More
