The B + B room is advertised as ensuite with tv. We were given a room with no en suite - a small bathroom across the landing, and there was no tv at all. It was clearly just her spare bedroom. We were then charged full whack. I admit I didn't realise the fraudulant room we'd been given at the...

Stayed for two nights in November 2011. We were collected at the station - which was not requested but kindly offered. From the beginning the hospitality from Maureen was superb. Organic vegetarian breakfast was outstanding. The room was more of a suite than a standard bedroom and felt very homely and confortable. Maureen was very friendly and gave us plenty...

This B&B is one of the best i've stayed in. The owner (Maureen) is a fabulous lady with a very friendly and welcoming manner. She even offered to drive us to the next town to the party we were going to, which was really nice of her and well above and beyond the call. The house was lovely, with a...

We stayed at this lovely little B&B in December 2006 for one night and had wished that we had gone for longer. It is set up on the hillside, overlooking the town of Hebden Bridge although is only 5 minutes walk from the town. The town itself has a lot to offer for a weekend away. There is some beautiful...

“Check that you're getting the room advertised on the website. If you're offered another room don't take it unless you ask a reduced rate. The room was cold, dirty and not en-suite. It wasn't worth £70.”
