This place is by far the most gorgeous place in Central America. I have been here 3 times in the last 7 years and I just left. I read a lot of the other reviews and I thought I would bring some clarity. 1. The steps: Its true... This resort is carved into the most prime hilltop location in San...

We stayed at Pelican Eyes as part of our tour of Central America for two nights - unfortunately their facilities and our experience there simply do not match the (overinflated) price. To be balanced it does have a great view from its mountain vantage point and staff are very friendly but a combination of simple things like no hair drier...

Just returned from Pelican Eyes Resort and LOVED IT! The houses were wonderfully spacious and comfortable. More importantly the staff were great. Kudos to the team in reservations who set us up on a wonderful sailing excursion with Mario and a great day of fishing with a experienced captain on a great fishing boat. I would absolutely recommend the resort...

I regret wasting my money at this place. The infinity pool was really nice. But other than that (1) my friends got attacked by insects on the property, (2) the fan didn't work in our room and they refused to fix it, (3) the stairs leading between the cabins are treacherous and I slipped on multiple occasions, (4) a generator...

We stayed here with a larger group. These aren't "rooms," but are actually individual single family homes. The small places are huge. They are all large. The best part for a group is we could easily fit 5-7 in a house without a problem which was perfect for our team which had some youth in it. The rooms have amazing...

I completely agree w/Landa C about the room being over-priced. We spent two nights in the "Honeymoon Suite". We didn't have any of the bug problems, but there were absolutely no amenities.
