Excellent place to stay when visiting San Juan del Sur. Beautiful property, Great views, excellent rooms. The service, food and location are Great. They had a special Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving night. It was really nice. Great time. I would highly recommend this resort when visiting Nicaragua..

The first stop for my husband's and my honeymoon was in San Juan del Sur. After having spent months planning our wedding, we really wanted to relax and rejuvenate ourselves. Thank goodness we found Pelcian Eyes! Their resort overlooks the town and has beautiful views of the ocean. They also have a very attentive, friendly staff! My husband and I...

Just returned from our time at the Pelican Eye Resort. I just want to mention that we had a wonderful experience. The staff was always ready to assist in anything from transportation, excursions, hair dresser and even where the locals like to eat. Elier the front desk manager always greeted us by names. Miguel and John at the restaurant knew...

My husband and I booked the wonderful sunset cruise!! Great adventure. It started with pickup from our hotel. We were taken to the Pelican Eyes Resort to pay and we were given a drink as we waited. Then we were transported to the dock and rode a panga a short way to the sail boat. There we were given as...

Stunning hotel set back from town . A choice of 3 infinity pools. Very attentive staff and plenty of towels and nice showers. We didn't stay here but I sent an email to the manager before we went to say I wanted to have lunch and a few drinks. They replied very quickly and said I would be most welcome...

We stayed in one of their 3 bedroom units higher up the hill. Fantastic views. The unit feels a bit dated with the interior but fortunately it's been properly maintained and well cleaned. You feel like you're on holidays!Town is a short downhill walk away, return is a bit of a hike up or take their shuttle. Good breakfast by...

My partner and I booked the Pelican Eye Resort as our 'end of holiday' treat traveling through Nicaragua for 2 weeks....and what a treat it was. Such a unique hotel - you feel immersed in luxury without the pretentiousness of some hotels. The staff were professional and friendly, the swimming pool and the vista will be forever etched in your...

My husband and I went to San Juan Del Sur for a weekend in late October. Right when we arrived they made us feel very welcome. Every single person we met there made sure we were taken care of. The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the spa was awesome. This resort has 3 pools and all of...

Of course, the resort has a great location, excellent view, good food and drinks. This is probably one of the best resorts that I have ever visited. The one thing that made this trip really special was the sail boat trip they offer. We were one of two couples on the boat. The trip is to a secluded spot about...

We walked from the beach up to the Pelican Eyes hotel, about 20 minutes and 65 steps UP! Amazing view, good food, clean, quiet, great wifi! The hotel gave us a free ride back down to the port. Worth the trek, even in the heat. We saw cruise staff at the restaurant, they must know this is the place to...
