Our whole family stayed at the Inn for my Granddaughter’s wedding just down the road. It was an Exceptional and Elegant place and the breakfast were spectacular! The Inn Keeper and her crew were the best I have ever had at a Bed and Breakfast!

From the ride up the lane to the Inn, to the smile and welcome at the door, to the tour of the beautiful common rooms, your visit starts and only gets better from here. All the room are themed and all have private bathes. We stayed in the Aviary Room. This room is ADA accessible, which is hard to find at many B&B’s. Each of the the other rooms we looked at were spectacular. The grounds are just as enjoyable and include a gazebo, deck, walking trails and sitting areas. But the best treat is breakfast. You are served a different, prepared, and served meal every morning by candlelight. It is a delicious and elegant experience. And all of this is topped by a wonderful, helpful, and informative staff. They aim to please, and they do! This is definitely an exceptional establishment and has become our top B&B.…

We often stay at Bed and Breakfast's as we would rather share our money with a person than a corporation. We judge a B&B on three things: 1, Cleanliness of the bathroom: This bathroom was huge, clean and very nice. 2. Comfort of the bed. We need a good night sleep to enjoy our visit and the Inn at Solvang had that. Our bed and pillows were perfect. 3. The breakfast...the effort an innkeeper puts into their breakfast and the table setting in our opinion is a reflection on how they care for their guests and the breakfast we had each day was wonderful. Varied flavors each day and the coffee was great. The table setting was very impressive and beautiful. The Inn is beautiful inside and out. We did not spend much time enjoying the grounds as we were busy with an event at Penn State but the home is just beautiful on the inside. Put all of this together with a wonderful Inn Keeper and the stay was a 15 out of 10. We will be back,…

I almost never leave reviews, but felt I needed to do one this time. Traveled to Huntingdon, PA to visit a local company for business. Brought my wife along and stayed a few days after the business meeting for fun. Decided to stay at The Inn at Solvang because it looked beautiful ... and was very reasonably priced. The accommodations and the hospitality of the staff were astonishingly great. When we arrived, we were met by Kelly who gave us a grand tour of the Inn. She shared quite a bit about the history of the place. The Inn includes a beautiful lobby with cushy chairs and couches and a big fireplace. There is also a "music room" with a piano and harpsicord. I play a bit, and Kelly encouraged me to play. Our room was big, clean and well decorated. Then there was breakfast ... Not exaggerating, our two breakfasts may have been the best breakfast I've every eaten! Ingredients locally sourced (farm to table). Served hot and fresh out of the oven. Stephanie (our host for breakfast) actively asked what our plans were for fun, and called a few people on our behalf to set up some tours. She spent a good 40 minutes with us helping us plan our day. Couldn't recommend The Inn at Solvang more.…

This was our first time staying here and it will not be the last. The house and staff were wonderful. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat. China, silver service and candles to go along with creative and delicious food. Whether you are in Huntingdon to visit Juniata College or just visiting, this is a gem.

Just stayed here for the third time and it was as wonderful as it was the past 2 times. Previously, we stayed in the main B&B and enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts and pretty rooms. This time, we stayed in the standalone Norwegian cabin and it was a blast! The whole first floor is a sauna, sitting area, and bathroom area with a fancy Japanese toilet. The top floor is 2 double beds, a comfortable sitting room, small but well equipped kitchen, and little closet area. The innkeepers left us a nice variety of foods so we could make our own breakfasts. There was plenty of coffee and even chocolate chip cookies and flowers and a handwritten note. The beds were very comfortable and the entire place was just cozy and roomy and charming and so quiet. The innkeepers are very easy to correspond with and are very responsive. Highly recommended!…

My wife and I stayed in the Inn's "stabbur" Norwegian wood house for a weekend in October 2021. We enjoyed the peaceful country setting; the first floor sauna and high-tech Japanese toilet; and second floor sleeping nooks. Host Stephanie left tasty breakfast treats. If you arrive after dark, be aware that cell service directions (e.g., Google Maps) are sparse and the Inn's driveway entrance is hard to see. Signage and lighting are minimal.

This was our second visit to Solvang - the first time we found them by accident, but this time we went to Huntingdon just to stay at Solvang! The facility is beautiful, the breakfasts are incredible, and the hosts are wonderful. We truly feel right at home - the public rooms are spacious and inviting, and the entire setting feels like a great estate. And quiet - the inn was full, but totally quiet, and we had complete privacy. Cannot wait for our next visit.

What a wonderful place! Already dreaming of our next visit! If you love books, I mean, oh my goodness! What a fabulous library - I could stay at the Inn for a weekend, never leave at all and just read to my hearts content! We stayed in the Ivy room for our 30th anniversary. It’s on the third floor - it’s actually a suite with two rooms, a private bath and private use of a balcony with a breathtaking view. There are some steep steps to the suite - if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of night be aware that those steps are right outside of the bathroom door- could be trouble if you are disoriented! The entire house is tastefully decorated and invites you to simply sit (or wander) and enjoy. The grounds are spacious and serene. Breakfast was amazing and the sweet, seasonal table settings were delightful. It is no wonder that Stephanie, the innkeeper, has been there for 20 years- She is a gem.Thank you for a memorable weekend! We are so looking forward to our next visit!…
