Clean, beautiful, quiet park inn. Attentive and efficient staff, delicious food, with accommodations for vegetarian. Our small suite was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the lake, comfortable bed. The visit was lovely in every way.
Quiet, cozy, beautiful spot for unwinding. Our second visit in five weeks, the small scale and ultra welcoming staff make this place such a welcome relief in these difficult times. Hesitant to even share because it feels like a personal getaway.
We arrived when there were about 18 inches of snow on the ground and found to our surprise that the Inn had a stash of boots, snowshoes, and cross-country skis available to guests for free. We had great fun exploring the surrounding park trails during our stay. And the breakfasts were fantastic - delivered right to your door for COVID safety.
We have stayed at Nature Inn several times before, and it was always excellent. So, wanting a quick anniversary getaway, I checked for rooms online, and booked our favorite, the Woodcock basic suite. Everything I read on the website assured me that all COVID protocols were being scrupulously followed, so we felt safe going. Once there, we were especially pleased to find that takeout dinners are now available if preordered, and breakfast is takeout as well. We were there on a Friday, so we took advantage of pizza night, which included a large pizza, two salads, two slices of caramel cheesecake, and two beverages for $39. Sure beats trying to find somewhere in the vicinity to eat. Plus, PA restaurants had just closed again until after the new year, so this was super convenient. And the food was great, as always. Everything at the inn was spotless, and cleaning supplies are readily available for anything you might need to wipe yourself. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the surroundings are gorgeous. Thanks, Nature Inn. We'll be back again soon.…
We celebrated an early Christmas at the inn, and it was lovely. The COVID precautions and private meals in our rooms made us feel safe and well taken care of during this crazy 2020. The rooms were lovely and we enjoyed the paths through the snow with a view of the lake. We'll be back!
